Aftertaste from bad processing
After really enjoying whole dried monkfruit for making tea I decided to try a more practical form, already separated in a container. This was not a good choice.PROPER monkfruit cores almost immediately bleed a red-amber on contact with hot water. Your fingers may be a hint sticky after handling it. The tea takes very little fruit to make and is very flavorful along with the tastebud-trickery sweetness. It reminds me of a good red tea.THIS monkfruit is overdried. It smells like cardboard with a hint of stale flax toast. It takes 10 minutes in hot water to barely dim the mixture a mild pilsner beer yellow. That offputting smell? Yeah, that smacks you after the nice sweetness to ruin all taste and enjoyment you might have had.I highly suspect that this product is actually the leftovers after extracting the juice for use in sweetener products. It only makes sense that since it smells of cattle feed it probably is being sold like byproduct cattle feed as well. Stay far far away from this product and get whole dried monkfruit instead, to guarantee it hasn't been pressed dry already.

Sweet flavor with a hint of melon, unusual, but not bad!
This was as easy to brew as any tea, I just threw a generous pinch of the dried fruits into a tea ball and steeped it in hot water for about seven minutes until it had turned a good, medium-yellow color. The scent of the tea is off-putting, it has a sort of bitter scent that did not suggest a good flavor, but the taste proved quite sweet, with a faintly cantaloupe-like fruity hint to it. It was sort of like drinking hot melon water with sugar in it, and I went back and forth on if I liked it or not for several minutes before deciding I had gotten used to it and enjoyed it.For anyone looking for something new, or a sweetened drink without the sugars, I think this was fun to try, and after a few cups it really grows on you if you give it a chance, recommended!

Sweet and fruity
I ordered this product because I had read that monk fruit was an excellent sweetener without the dubious side-effects of other sweeteners. This product contained the dried seeds which can be steeped in water to release their properties. I found the flavor very sweet with a bit of a fruity flavor. For ease of use, I ground the dried seeds into a powder which I then add to my loose leaf teas. Overall I find the flavor pleasantly sweet and a good addition to herbal concoctions!

Sweet Taste Tea
The dried monk fruit is naturally sweet without being cloying, a fantastic natural sweetener.
