Just Amazing sound
Just got these for daily use and been comparing it with a DosCinco and these sounds amazing for the price. Not at the same league as the DosCinco, but the sound is just amazing.

Much better sound than any other wired ear bud I’ve tried (no mic)
Very comfortable right out of the box. I fell asleep with these in and 8-ish hours later my ears were no worse for the wear. Better external sound isolation than my go to mixing headphones which are a beat up old pair of Beyerdynamic DT 770s. Maybe these aren’t quite as flat a frequency response as those, but these will be my new casual listening choice. I haven’t played around too much with the dip switch settings since they sound quite good with the factory settings.I just put these through their paces with an online tone generator. My nonscientific conclusion is that they have a reasonably flat frequency response between about 40Hz and 8kHz, with the lower frequencies rolling off from there, but still able to handle 15Hz. You’ll have to boost the volume, but they’ll reproduce that just fine. Same situation with higher frequencies, but since my ears start to crap out at around 16kHz and the tinnitus starts wreaking havoc in my right ear right around 8kHz, I can’t say how much higher they will reproduce decently. Then I listened to Joe Jackson’s Evil Empire, one of my speaker/headphone evaluation tracks. Nice. These don’t completely disappear like my Magnepan 1.7i speakers do, and don’t recreate that magically big soundstage that made me fall in love with the beautiful transparency of Maggies many decades ago, but really nice sound for such a tiny package.A couple minor complaints: First, the cord is a bit stiff. Definitely not like the supple Apple earbud cords of yesteryear. Second, it is not obvious which wire is for which side, which meant I had to search out a familiar song track to make sure the right channel was really feeding the right side and the left the left. Third, the Right/Left markings on the monitors themselves are a bit too discreet, making them hard to read. They do not have active noise cancelling tech. No mic, and that would be a monster deal if they did have that built in. But they are such a good fit that they do keep the outside world at bay quite well. They get a solid thumbs up from this guy 👍
