Great scan tool that does a lot for the price. This was the first one I bought and I kept it even though I have since upgraded to a big boy. The interface is clear and simple, it works without WIFI (you need wifi for updates, of course), and has a good list of coverage for vehicles and special functions.

This arrived and I immediately put it to use on my 2013 Range Rover sport HSE. After an engine swap, I had some gremlins to take care of.Within 2 hours this identified a cylinder 2 misfire, with counter, fixed that, identified a bad left outer parking sensor, fixed that, coded the new TPMS into the car, fixed the tpms fault light (I had to read the IDs of my old sensors with my Autel TPMS tool), I registered my battery to the truck, I reset the service light, this identified my front puddle light was out, fixed that and I cleared all the miscellaneous codes from the engine swap and bad battery prior to the new one. Now, only 1 code remains in 2 modules for my rear hatch, latch.The hatch needs some extra push at the end of the auto close function and this scanner led me right to the issue. I’ll fix that asap and the entire truck will be code free. This scanner paid for itself on the first day.The live values are great for component health etc. fuel trims etc. I haven't messed with the bi-directional stuff yet as I didn’t need to today, but the support for this MY RRS should be fine.This scanned my sisters 2021 and 2022 GLB AMGs also. Identified past faults in the history of a few modules like radar, HUD, touch radio etc.All in all, I’m a fan so far.

First job I tried was to reset a check engine light on a 21 Kia Forte and it was unable to clear the code. For the price I would expect it was able to clear a basic ECU code. .

Great buy. Saved me thousands on repair bills for mechanics that charge hundreds for a simple fix.

Have to read up on how to use for certain types of scans.

I have worked a a KIA dealership for 18 years, this scanner has very basic function on my 2000 KIA Sportage. My sister's s 2009 KIA Rio read engine, trans, abs, air bag and the included battery/ alt test mode works on it. I have used electronic park brake reset on several kia and hyundai cars successfully. On the down side, my memory card died and I had to format and install a new one for this tool. Last software update was 2 years ago and still only goes up to 2016 and 2017 models. If you have a newer kia or hyundai, buy the Launch CReader 123 or 129 model tools as they support 2019 and some 2020 models and older. The Careader does 90% of the special features this iCarsoft scanner does.
