Not Tea Bags, Probably Green Tea, Loose Tea, Definitely Good
I had to rate lower because the product is significantly different than the description. If you were expecting ready-to-use tea bags, you would be very surprised to discover a jar full of twigs and leaves.Another reviewer pretty much stated what I was about to write here, so I will summarize the bullet points:- This is loose leaf, largely unprocessed material. To drink this properly you will need some basic tools or some ingenuity.- The main ingredient appears to be green tea but it could be a blend - the caffeine content does not seem to be consistent with just green tea. The leaves are almost whole, which is a good thing in terms of freshness.- There is a strong lemon scent. The other reviewer posited Lemongrass and that is a possibility. I think it might be lemon zest or peel. It wouldn't take much to permeate everything else in the jar.- Once you get past all that, this is good tea. Since this is presumably green tea, this benefits from a cooler steeping temp. Also, I think lemon is happier around 140-160f so you might want to shoot for somewhere around there.- Above average overall flavor profile, nicely balanced after preparation. The lemon flavor equalizes compared to the scent in the jar. I added some fresh lemon and honey to taste after steeping. This is a tough thing to review - on one hand the product I received is actually quite good and I would recommend it to someone who is semi-serious about tea-time. On the other hand the casual tea-bag user is going to be confused if they purchase based on the title and description.Let it be know that this is a 4-5 star loose leaf tea but the product listing is a 1. If this gets relisted, this deserves praise.

Very nice lemony tea, but no mention of second ingredient (lemongrass???)
This tea definitely has a lemony tang to it. I do very much like the tea. For flavor, freshness, etc. I would give it 5 stars. I have one big problem with the tea. The product page talks about it having a lemon flavor, but the only ingredient listed on the label is green tea. I'm almost positive that the lighter colored pieces that you can see in the manufacturer's photo and in mine are lemongrass. I have never heard of anyone being allergic to lemongrass, but if that is what the grass-like cuts in the bottle are, then it should have certainly been listed on the label. No production date. Best by date is about a year and a half from when I received the tea. The information is printed vertically down the side of the bottle in a dot matrix kind of font. The tea leaves are mostly whole with a small amount of broken pieces at the bottom of the jar. There are currently a couple of mentions of tea bags on the product page. Hopefully, they will be changed soon. This is definitely loose leaf like the photo shows. I have found that new products often have some misinformation, and often it's because the text is copied from a different product from the same manufacturer. I no longer worry about it too much because it should be corrected when the manufacturer really starts to sell the product and isn't just giving some samples out to Vine reviewers.
