The one I bought is not bed size It is a throw So there are not any pillow shams

I fold mine once in half (rectangular) and lay across the foot of my Queen sized bed.

Q: will cat claws snag it?

I think cat claws would snag it. It is a thin, lightweight throw.

Q: Does this come with a cat, or do I need to purchase that separately?

I have four cats and they love it. They make biscuits and crawl under it. No issues at all. I actually bought the blanket for the cats!
