The 36 pack repellent is a great value. The natural peppermint oil formula is safe to use which makes me feel better. I love that I can use it both indoors and outdoors, making it super versatile. It’s easy to use. Highly recommend this for anyone who wants an easy and natural way to repel roaches!

It has a very distinct chemical odor, something similar to walking into an old dirty warehouse or when you order items from Amazon that are made with PU leather or made out of plastic, but the smell of these things is 10 times stronger. The instructions are confusing because it says not to open before using the repellent but the item itself IS the repellent so do we open the plastic bag or not? Either way, I opened one plastic bag and the smell was so foul and strong that we had to remove it from where I had placed it within a few minutes and decided to return this.

I bought these for my daughter whos apartment building starting have a roach infestation. She says they seem to help, but they have a very strong odor. She also mentioned that they seem to have a lot of plastic waste with all of the i divdual wrapping.

Now, roaches, they're a city’s dirty secret, the unsavory tenants that nobody wants to invite. This product, however, isn’t so cut and dried. The man who’d hired me, a wiry fella with a permanent squint, wasn't sure if the stuff worked. He’d scattered the peppermint oil-soaked pellets like he was seeding a garden, but the bugs, he wasn’t so sure. What he was sure of, however, was the smell. “It about knocked me on my heels,” he’d told me, his eyes watering at the memory. “It’s like a peppermint bomb went off. If it ain't chasing the roaches away, it's at least chasing me, and that ain't a bad thing, I guess. Gotta give it five stars for effort, though.” Here was a case where the evidence was… ambiguous. It may or may not have repelled the roaches, I’d decided, but it sure as heck had a powerful presence. The truth, I figured, sometimes sits somewhere in the middle.

Not the worst thing in the world for bug repellent but needs improving. It doesn’t quite deserve that much credit for what it says it’s supposed to do, so I’d give it two stars for now.

The smell is overpowering and I am very allergic to this product. Unfortunately, I missed the return window due to a family emergency.

The package says "do not touch skin", "store in a cool and ventilated place", and asks not to use it outside when it's raining (this sounds like the product should not contact water). And from the smell of the product, this product looks like to me, either naphthalene or paradichlorobenzene, commonly used chemical insect repellent/insecticide. The website's description "ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: % By Proportion Peppermint oil: 2.5% Cedarwood oil: 2% INERT INGREDIENTS: Mica-group minerals 95.5%" doesn't sound correct.
