Perfect for freeze dried food
I freeze dry a lot of foods so these are perfect for storing my larger sized meals!I love the rounded corners on this bag, most mylar bags have sharp edges that scratch me. The wide gusseted bottom made it easy to fill while the bag was standing up. The bottom is not flat, it curves up on the edges so you can't fill the bags all the way to the corners. I was able to fill this one gallon bag with 3 pounds of sliced freeze dried apples. The bags are a decent thickness too, they are comparable to the brand name bags that came with my freeze drying machine. This set came with one oxygen absorber per bag, label stickers, and 5 clips to aid in sealing the bags. Each bag also has a zipper on top so that you can zip the bags closed after you cut the seal open.The listing states in the description that these are clear bags and that you get 100 of them. The title is accurate though, you get 50 solid silver bags. I am still very happy with these bags and will continue to use them for my freeze drying snacks.I think this is a great price considering everything that you get.
