As as it should at a fraction of price required no programming

This replaced the remote that came with my Pioneer Elite A/V receiver. While the Pioneer Elite is a great A/V receiver, the original remote control was HORRIBLE. You had to press harder than one should to adjust volume. And, because of that, it would over or under shoot the level one desired. It was impossible to step in one level at a time. Eventually, the volume control stopped working completely. Consequently, when I realized this replacement control was compatible, I hoped it would work better. And, my prayers were answered. This replacement remote works far better than the original. It feels much lighter, and takes AAA instead of the original’s AA batteries. But, ALL the buttons work perfectly. There was no set up or pairing necessary. It immediately connected to my A/V receiver. I can easily lower or raise the volume by half steps. This remote is better than the original in every respect. My only regret is that I could not find this perfect remote years ago.

I have one of the models that are mentioned in the description but nothing happens except for the red light blinking. That makes me think it sees it but it won't do anything else. I'll keep playing with it to see if I'm missing something and will update if I can get it to work.
