Great sound
This bit of kit does sound great but there are a couple of minor drawbacks. The suction pad isn’t very strong and keeps falling off, which leads to the 2nd drawback, the battery. I’ve had to tape the battery in place because it falls out of position easily. This has happened twice out of the three times I’ve used it. Could we’ll be down to my inexperience of using this item but I’ve now fitted the belt clip to the battery/volume box so hopefully there’ll be no further problems with it falling off.

Surprisingly good
I was skeptical, I'm really a condenser microphone (Neumann KM184) guy when it comes to recording resonators. But live this can be a pain in the ass and this is the best compromise I've heard. It's pretty cheap and you can move it about to tweak the sound which best EQ in my opinion. A nice feature over other clip on mics like Audio Technica etc is that it has a build in battery so no phantom power and jack rather than XLR. This can could be a pro or con depending on your live setup so just beware :). Replacing the battery requires a screwdriver which is daft but you don't need ot do it very often, its switched on by the jack like a pedal.

This is a great little pickup. Had issues at the beginning however Mr Myers himself provided first class service and had my issues resolved.
