Some Good, Some Bad
I generally like this catchpot. The big pot and lexan lid are heavy and nice quality. The rubber seal works well. The valve on it is garbage. It's tiny, cheap, and leaks profusely. After stuffing it all over with gum tape (I use this for composites vacuum bagging) I gained about 4 more inches HG. Also the vacuum gauge on it is no good. Just sitting it reads a few inches vacuum and at a full draw it reads somewhere around 35 inches mercury. I replaced all of these after one use. All good now! For the price you should shop around a little; a few extra dollars may get you all quality parts in one package without 3 trips to Home Depot.
