My deck wall light was a 20 year old builder grade nondescript light that we replaced with this beauty. What a transformation that one change has made on our deck. This light is well made and is just as you see it in the pictures. The seeded glass adds visual interest and so much character. The instructions were useful and installation went smoothly and as expected. Remember to put the cap on the photosensor when you are testing it for correct installation. The photosensor does work and you will have no light! I do wish the cap for the sensor was more substantial like a screw on or a snap on so that it would secrely stay in place. We had to use a small piece of tape to make sure it stays on regatdless of weather, wind, etc. I love this light. We are very proud to use and enjoy it. The light bulb provided has excellent light output, too.

The fixture is nicely constructed. It's not made of the cheapest materials possible. It is certainly a step or two above what the builder used when they built my house. It has a dusk/dawn sensor which is good for some people but I don't need to add light when I don't need it so I used the included sensor cover. The lamp is 100% controlled by a switch. It looks good. I included pictures.The serious downside was that the screws through the support bracket were too long. They are designed to be backed away to the length needed for the screw caps. This didn't work in my case because the junction box happens to be installed with the screw holes exactly level to the floor which is where the screws from the support bracket into the light fixture need to go so I couldn't back them out. I had to go to the hardware store to get 1" #8 screws instead of the 1.25" #8 screws that came in the package. It was inconvenient but not a big deal. If you're someone who messes with their own electric, a couple of screws aren't a deal breaker.Overall, it's a ton better than the builder's special porch light that every house in my entire neighborhood came with when it was built 25 years ago.

Looks nice but it's not made of very durable material. Doesn't seem like its going to last long.

This is a solid light fixture. Comes with everything you will need to install:- The light itself, 99% assembled- Wire nuts- Adapter ring- Nuts/boltsFinish is a solid black. The glass globe has an old style vibe to it. The included bulb is bright, frankly too bright for my eyes. End up replacing it with a lower wattage bulb. No disassembly is required to change the bulb, just reach up through the bottom and change out. I have extra large hands and had no problem doing this.The light sensor is a nice touch to make sure the light isn't on all day. For those that insist on adding to the light pollution, it will turn the light on automatically once dusk rolls around.Unlike every other outdoor light I have mounted, the screw holes line up perfectly with a standard metal electrical box. Though it came with an adapter ring, I did not use it. I also did not use the little black matching knobs that are intended to be used. I would recommend to the vendor to include a set of black screws for this situation.All in all very happy with this fixture.

Out of the box I could tell this light was a winner. The quality of the materials is apparent. The metal is a nice thickness and coated with a good finish. The light came with a bulb, which is a great detail. The lamp shade is bubbled glass and is beautiful. The styling is rustic, farmhouse, or cottage. The shape and proportions are visually very appealing. This will be used on a log home and I believe will be a great accent piece.The light came with two screws, three wire nuts, the instructions, electric connection hardware, and a light bulb. The light bulb has a brightness of 800 lumen and is 7 watts. The bulb is rated for a 15,000 hour life. There is one piece to attach to the lamp before the electrical installation, and it appears to be an easy piece to mount with a couple screws.The only way to improve this lamp is to send it with an electrician (ha ha). I cannot wait to have it hanging. Would give this lamp five stars!

I wanted to update the look of our front porch, and ideally prevent bugs from access to the light bulb. My old one constantly had spider webs and bugs. This light, not only looks great, but prevents the bugs from getting in. The installation was easy, just flipped the breaker, did the quick swap and was back in business within 30 minutes. The bulb that comes with it looks great, although I may change it later to a smart bulb. If you are looking to update your front doors appeal, consider this light.

Lightweight for the size. Only uses 7W. Dusk till dawn light sensor. Wish it had a motion detection option. Finish looks good but not sure about how it will hold up to the elements after a year or two.
