I purchased this unit to connect my computer via optical connection. I own three wireless headphones: AKG over-the-ear, AfterShokz bone conduction, and Google Pixel Buds. While I'm not an audiophile, I do appreciate quality audio - I just don't need audiophile-grade quality wirelessly.I selected the DS700 specifically for its advertised range. Broadcasting from my office in a sunroom addition, it successfully reaches throughout my house except for another addition on the opposite side. This limitation seems due to both additions being outside the main house's exterior walls. Multiple thick walls appear to be too much for consistent quality transmission. However, I experience no issues upstairs, suggesting that multiple interior walls and floors aren't problematic. Worth noting: my 1929 house features plaster and lath walls, which are thicker than modern construction.I've primarily used the LDAC mode, which delivers noticeably superior audio quality compared to the other settings. Overall, I recommend the DS700. It's simple to install, pairs quickly, and appears well-constructed. It perfectly meets my needs.

Wanted great sound and preamp for my Sony headset and this box delivers. Max volume and sound quality are epic. Wireless range passes bathroom test even distant laundry room that is very impressive on LDAC. I haven't tested all the features but overall it is very convincing and for what i need it I am very happy with this product, highly recommend it.

I had high hopes for this Bluetooth transmitter, especially with its claim of HD sound. Unfortunately, no matter what I tried, I couldn't get it to work with my Marantz PM7000N receiver and Sonos Move 2 speakers. I experimented with different settings and connections; it would pair with speakers but NEVER transmit audio!On the plus side, the build quality seems solid, and I appreciate the compact design. If it had worked, it might have been a great addition to my setup. However, after hours of troubleshooting, I decided to go back to my old transmitter, which works flawlessly.If you're considering this for a similar setup, be aware that compatibility might be an issue.

The downside was it is not obvious how to pair. You have to have the switch in the right position.Outside of that, it works great and has better range than I expected. Perfect for older home theatre setups.I am using the optical cable on my old Denon circa 2000 and powered through the switched outlet.
