Excellent product. Works as it should. Purely plug and play out of the box. Pry tool as other have stated works perfectly. Take out the two T20 screws and pry up a lil harder on the bezel than you want to but it just pops off. Then you really gotta push it back down to get it to seat again. 2024 Tiguan.

This was exactly what I needed. The product shipped fast and work, now I don't have worry about that auto start stop button anymore.

I would check YouTube on how to remove the trim on your particular vehicle. The product is exactly what is described and functions as it should. Easy to install, plug and play. No more turning off the auto stop/start.

Installed this over a month ago and it has worked as designed. If you’re not handy, maybe watch a YouTube video on removing the trim/console piece before attempting. It is actually very easy but requires applying force in the correct spot to avoid breaking any plastic. Remove trim piece, remove two screws (T25 if I remember correctly), remove button trim piece just enough to unplug the connector and install the jumper. Tuck it away, reinstall everything and you’re good to go. I leave the auto start/stop off all the time so all I had to do was turn it off once and now every time I turn the car on, the auto start/stop is deactivated. I saw somebody comment about it not working with remote start but I haven’t had that issue. I have the VW factory remote start and it still works when I use that as well as when I start it through the VW app. Overall, highly recommended.

Easy install. Works as advertised. For folks having trouble with the wire bundle taking up too much space and you can’t push the buttons down…. Just move the wire bundle under the button area…On a 2024 Tiguan(and likely many other models) you can pop the shifter boot up via the little slot above the electronic parking brake switch.

Worked exactly as it should on my 2019 VW Tiguan. Tip: You only need pry up the little button section on the right hand side of the shifter.
