A good video card
Works well, had issues on a HP800 G2 but it turned out it was the power supply was insufficient, when hooked up to a PC with an adequate Power Supply, it worked great.

Not a good brand
Worst possible graphics card, do not buy it , it is not reliable, could not get display port to work and I tried everything with their customer service and it just would not work

Decent card but long in the tooth
The RX 550 is a decent card, but it's no powerhouse. The RX 550 is now about 7 years old, and it's showing it's age. This card has the benefit of being low profile so it's most likely meant for smaller machines like work machines or certain SFF PCs. Inside the box is the card and a SFF bracket if you need to change them out. It installed easily and was picked up by my PC on the first boot. Windows installed the drivers right away and we were off. I swapped out my 5600 XT (which itself is not spring chicken) to test this card so I knew it was going to be a massive downgrade. It is able to run some games decently, but really wasn't up to the task for most modern games. Depending on your build, it may actually be an upgrade against something like onboard graphics, but don't expect modern day performance out of it. I feel the main thing this card has going for it is it's low profile combined with a lower price point. If you're looking to upgrade a SFF PC or building something small on a low budget like an emulator machine, this would probably be the niche for this kind of card. Outside of that, there's better and newer to be had.

Ye olde 550
The RX 550 is as base model as you can get in the RX series. It is nothing special.Nothing wrong with that at all if you have expectations that match the card. This 550 performs as well as any other 550 I've messed with in that it'll play some modern games with dialed-down settings, play HD video, and overall get you out of a bind if your high-end GPU fried out of nowhere.
