Good replacement ear pads for HD580 but missing parts
The positives are the replacement pads are comfortable and appear to be well made. The stitching is tight & the tolerances are good - they fit snugly & look great as replacement pads for my old Sennheiser HD580s (that still sound absolutely amazing after nearly 30 years btw, hence my desire to keep them & simply buy replacement pads). The negatives are the newly designed pads are overall slicker than the stock velvet pads and seem to slowly slide forward or backwards easier - they'll need to be readjusted on your head a bit more often. The foam is firmer than stock (likely due to the gel-layer) so they're not quite as plush as stock pads which takes some getting used to. They'll also likely need a longer break-in... perhaps that could also mean they'll last longer, but we'll see.One more thing - they were suppose to come with "1 pair dust-proof mats" but none were in the packaging. In the picture provided, you can see the product compared to the old pads they're replacing to the left of it. Overall, I do recommend them if you're ok with the negatives stated but am disappointed with the missing parts so I cannot give it a 5 star rating.

Very comfortable pads, with some penalty to sound
I ordered these pads to replace my Dekoni Choice Suede pads, since the adhesive on one of the pads had failed. I installed them on my Drop x Sennheiser HD 6XX headphones, but chose to stick with the "stock" Sennheiser foam tuning pad rather than the one that came with these new pads. I found these pads to be extremely comfortable. My ears/head don't get too hot while wearing the headphones, and the pads are thick enough that there's no undesirable friction between my outer ear and the inside of the headphone's ear cups. However, I want to note that there is a difference in sound when using these pads versus the Dekonis or OE Sennheiser pads. Obviously this is subjective, but I prefer the sound signature of the original pads, followed by the Dekoni pads, with these ones coming in third. It's not enough of a difference for me to recommend against trying these pads out- I think some might even find they like the sound with these pads installed. I just figured it deserved to be mentioned. All said, the pads were easy to install and get the job done. If you're looking to upgrade the comfort of your HD600-series headphones, these could be worth a try!

Comfortable, yet too warm and with noticeable sound signature changes
The earpads on my HD 6XXs were starting to show wear, so I decided to try these replacements. At first, they felt more comfortable than the stock pads. The memory foam is plush, and the breathable fabric feels good against my head. These pads also provide a better seal than the originals, resulting in slightly increased bass and reduced outside noise. Depending on your listening preferences, this could be a benefit or a drawback. Installation was simple as they went on just as easily as the official Sennheiser pads. However, the comfort diminishes during extended use. After more than 30 minutes, the improved seal and materials trap more heat than the stock pads, making them uncomfortable for longer listening sessions. As shown in the third picture, the pads I received lack the perforations shown in the product listing, which might explain the heat buildup; it’s possible I received a defective pair. Additionally, these pads slide around more than the stock ones, which can be distracting.Another downside is the included foam inserts. They noticeably muffle the mids and highs, so I recommend sticking with the stock Sennheiser foam for better sound quality. After around 50 hours of use, the cushions remain plush and haven’t compressed. While I appreciate the initial comfort, solid build quality, and improved sound isolation, the increased warmth and altered sound signature are deal-breakers for me. Ultimately, despite their potential, I’ll be returning to the official Sennheiser earpads.
