Pet Parents Secret to Happy Kidneys
Are you worried about your pet’s quality of life? I was too, until I discovered Pet Wellbeing Core Kidney Care.First off, let’s talk about the star ingredient: Chitosan. This stuff is amazing! It helps bind dietary phosphates, eliminating them through the bowels rather than the kidneys. This is a big deal because high phosphate levels can contribute to kidney dysfunction. And guess what? Chitosan binds phosphorus just as well as prescription binders, but without the calcium. But that’s not all. This magic powder is packed with Probiotics. These little helpers not only boost kidney health but also maintain healthy digestion and immune function. They even support normal blood urea levels, helping to prevent the buildup of uremic toxins. Talk about a multi-tasker!Now, let’s not forget about the Alfalfa Powder. It’s a fantastic source of nutrients, including eight amino acids, chlorophyll, vitamins (A, D, E, & K), and minerals. This ensures your pet gets a well-rounded supplement to support their overall health. And of course, there’s Reishi. Known for its kidney-protective benefits, Reishi also supports a healthy response to stress. With all these powerful ingredients, it’s no wonder Loki’s looking and feeling better than ever!Pet Wellbeing Core Kidney Care is veterinarian-formulated and made in the USA. It’s produced in FDA-registered, GMP-certified facilities, ensuring top-notch quality and purity. Plus, they offer a money-back guarantee, so there’s no risk in giving it a try.So, if you’re looking to boost your pet’s kidney health and overall well-being, give Pet Wellbeing Core Kidney Care a shot.I did research on the ingredients—Chitosan, FOS (Fructooligosaccharides), Alfalfa Powder, and Reishi—they're all safe and beneficial for both dogs and cats. So, your feline friends can enjoy the benefits just as much as your canine companions. My Rating System Explained:⭐️ 1 star - Unfortunately, this product falls short of expectations due to its poor quality. Cat Ate All His Food
I bought this for my oldest cat. I am concerned about his kidneys. He is a very small cat so I dose his food with less than it calls for. This smells like protein powder a bit. The flavor is about the same and I can make out the reishi in it. I actually take reishi myself. I am always a little concerned with whether my cat will eat his food with something in it. My cat isn't very picky though. I mix this in wet food with another supplement for him. It seems to blend in better than the others I put into his food. Adding this in his food didn't bother him at all. He ate all his food. I would order again.

My cat eats it but the alfalfa powder concerns me.
This Pet Wellbeing phosphorus binder seems to be of good enough quality. As far as I can tell, Pet Wellbeing products are not made in China and the company is based in Canada and the U.S. I sprinkle it on top of my cat's canned food and mix it in. She eats it with no problem. However, I'm a little concerned about the alfalfa powder in this. The product description mentions alfalfa powder with its supply of vitamins A, D, E and K. Vitamin A, E and K can build up in the body and become toxic to someone with kidney disease since the kidneys can't properly filter those vitamins. At least, that's how it is for humans (both me and my cat have kidney disease). I imagine the build-up of those vitamins can occur in kidney diseased cats as well so that has me concerned and needing to consult with a vet about this phosphorus binder before I administer any more of this to my sweet kitty. But for now, I give this product four stars because it's easy to use, the company seems reputable enough and my cat doesn't seem to mind the taste when it's in her food.Just be careful with the alfalfa powder. I recommend consulting with a vet before using.

Smells Off
So I have a cat with kidney issues, and I gave this to him before he started his prescription cat food. He ate it once but after that he didn't want to eat it anymore. I don't know if it's something to do with it not being fresh or if this is how it's supposed to smell, but it has a old sort of rancid smell, it doesn't smell like food or anything edible - it smells like something's wrong with it. I haven't given it to him since and I don't plan on using it anymore. I wish I knew if the smell was normal or if something was wrong with the batch I received, but I don't want to order a second one to find out. Sadly, I won't be using this, which is unfortunate given the price of it.

Mixed reviews from the felines
I have two cats. They are picky eaters.I mixed just a pinch in each cat's wet food (their favorite). One cat wouldn't touch her food. The other cat ate hers. So, if your cat will eat it, it's probably good for them (at least that's what my vet says).
