Good quality
It nourishes and protects the lips, and helps repair chapped lips. Stays on the lips for long.

Moisturises effectively, for 3-4 hours.
Lip balm comes with an inner lid. Personally found it better than other lip-balms. Consistency is thick, scent is like cocoa since it mentions that it has cocoa and Shea butter. There's no tint, it's as plain as it looks. It serves the purpose of moisturizing the lips. Stays on for 3-4 hours, but if you eat / drink, some of it might wear off.Overall, a good product.

Ok. Not great
After using nivea Chapstick and Vaseline for so long, I wanted to try one of the natural products for lips. My choices were Himalaya lip butter and Biotique range of lip balm- I chose Himalaya first because it was cheaper :-PConsistency- it is a thick butter, doesn't come easily on your finger, cool weather of Bangalore made it thicker I guess. However it applies smoothly on lips. Personally I don't like the thick texture (or maybe it's because I've been used to the thin smooth texture of petroleum based jelly)Fragrance-it has a yummy slightly butterscotch, slightly cocoa fragrance. It'll take some time time to get used to the smell under your nose (on your lip)Feeling on lip- it feels slightly heavy, sticky, unnatural on the lip. It doesn't get absorbed into the lips easily, nor does it get rubbed off. So lip stay hydrated for a long time. But then again, like I said, it feels unnatural for me, a constant feeling that something is stuck to your lip. It can be a good primer under lipstick or gloss. Best suited for night use because of its heavy texture. But it does make the lip smooth and soft, does nothing to tanned lips. No SPF.Gloss- no gloss, no shimmer,no colour, just a natural hydrating effect.Tub packaging can be a lil unhygienic.Amazon packaging- maybe it was just to transport across various state, the package was all greasy on the outside.Overall verdict- just a night therapy for lips. I may not buy it again, will try Biotique

Feels like a luxury brand lip butter
Have been using it regularly every night and find that my lips feel definitely smoother. The product doesn’t lend any color to the lips and keeps lips well moisturized until morning. Dry patches and chapped lips are reduced to a great extent. Recommend using it as a lip balm morning or night or both. You can even use it to prep your lips before applying any lipstick. This is a great lip butter to wear under a matte lipstick. PROS - Feels like a high end lip mask for the price of a drugstore one. Smells amazing. Light-weight. Non greasy. Chemical free . CONS - Some may find the tub packaging a bit painful – especially if you have long nails. More reviews on looklikethis.in

It's actually effective!
This is my first lip care product. I am a male and wanted a tintless lip balm and after a lot of research went for it. It's a great lip butter which keeps the lips soft and hydrated for about 4-5 hours easily. You won't want to use it again as the lips gets pretty soft throughout the day. I use it after bath and before bed and can see results. The smell is like that of chocolate and caremel and is a little strong which some will love some will hate. I like the smell and my family don't. So yeah! It's good but use less quantity

The lip butter is not buttery anymore
I started using this lip butter 2-3 years ago when I was looking for a local, cheaper option to the Nivea lip balm. It was good then -- nice scent, felt like it actually had the Cocoa/Sal butters it claims to have and kept lips moisturized for a good amount of time. The latest lot I got now, Mfd: Aug 2019 has none of these properties. It is hard in Oct and will be like a stone in Dec/Jan making it useless, has a bad scent and moisturizes for a short time. Seems to be a big compromise on quality. Got to go back to the Nivea then.Update Jan 2020: the Himalaya lip butter is frozen solid, absolutely useless. Nivea lip balm is soft on the other hand. I have found something even better though - Vaseline jelly which keeps moisture in the longest.
