Generic
These cheap telescope covers are all over ebay and Amazon. None are as sturdy as the Telegizmos but are far cheaper. Probably the same as the “Astromania” and similar brands. Acceptable for the price but long term durability not known.

This is one of those "wish I got this earlier" products...
This excellent cover arrives in an easy to recycle plastic bag. I chose it because I wanted something to cover my DSLR, extender and 150-600mm lens. Normally I would use a transparent plastic cover like a Rainsleeve, something that costs around £18.Which works fine when hand-shooting, but that combination of really old kit is very heavy. Not much fun when standing for 5-6 hours while at events like airshows and jousting shows. So I decided to invest in a heavy duty gimbal mount.A mount that's attached to an equally weighty professional video tripod. Something that's bought the joy back to photography, especially now I can add an external monitor and cabled triggers. Though while an incredibly stable photography platform, the Rainsleeve is too small to cover the camera, mount and the tripod head.So when I got this cover I was more than happy, especially as it covers all my kit and half the tripod. It's also brilliant at weatherproofing kit. Be that bright sunshine which can cause cameras to heat up, or as protection for a short sudden downpour.Another great thing is this can be opened at both ends, so I can use it like a old fashioned "dark cloth".The idea being the cloth keeps bright light away from the LCD screen, especially when using a tablet as an external camera monitor. While I can still easily access the controls and the zoom and focusing rings.Another unexpected positive I found was it stops other people from tinkering with your gear while at a show. Something that happens a lot if your kit looks like something from a sci-fi steampunk movie. While nothing gets damaged or goes missing, sometimes they accidentally change settings or the camera placement.People will still ask what's that, and I'm always happy to chat, but it removes that annoying risk. It's also lightweight and folds to a nice size. A size that can either fit into the thin sleeve on the back of a dedicated camera rucksack or be used as padding for a flightcase.Overall? This is just a brilliant piece of kit, one with multiple uses especially given the great price. I've even used it as a comfy pillow while on a long train ride home!
