Access to training course is good for me.
This still has use and relevance for today. It makes it easy to listen to courses and other boxed cassette tapes.I really like this retro look. used via power main or battery this is so convenient.I consider this to be real value for money and a quality item.

Be kind, Rewind
The media could not be loaded. A couple of weeks ago, I was in the loft and found tapes of music I had recorded on 4 track back in the 90's. Long story short, I bought this tape player in order to hear my teenage self wailing away, amid the clatter of guitar, bass and drum. It's blimming good stuff. I obviously had more talent then than now.Love this little tape player. Of course the sound isn't HD quality but what do expect?! GenXers know to mend and make do.

Retro 80s radio/cassette
The media could not be loaded. This 80s style retro radio/cassette is fun and includes some modern touches. Operation is either via a mains plug or 4xD batteries giving you a choice of cassette tape, MP3, Radio AM/FM, USB, SD and Bluetooth.Sound quality is OK, nothing special, but it does crank up pretty loudly. I like the 80s styling cues throughout the radio particularly the faux wood casing. If you are looking for an 80s retro radio, along with some modern technology, this is a great option and worthy of consideration.

Safety and quality issues
First impressions were that I had received something that had been returned. The box was badly sealed with sellotape, and the plastic bag containing the radio/cassette was not packed as it would be from the factory.Worryingly, there was a very strong, acrid, smell of electrical burning as soon as the box was opened. This pervaded in use, didn’t get any worse, but totally off putting. I wouldn’t want to trust leaving it plugged in on safety grounds. It is not a bad looking product and the retro style is well done. It feels well made.It can be mains powered (lead supplied) or by 4 x D Cell batteries. It paired easily with my Walkman on Bluetooth. The cassette side of things worked well, and the dampened drawer opened smoothly. There is a hole which is supposed to house a microphone socket, it doesn't, it's just a hole. The radio was fine on all bands, but I felt tuning dial a bit inaccurate, and the tuning knob a bit rough in use.The volume control had a small ‘dead’ area then much loudness. There was no scope to turn volume down to a ‘background music’ level – it is loud or louder.Where it does produce considerable volume, the sound is the ‘tinniest’ I have come across, I found it impossible to listen to, even for a very short time. A far cry from the blurb on the Amazon page‘Equipped with speakers for a crisp, rich and clear audio experience’It’s on Amazon for £32.95 and if was not for its shortcomings would be a bargain. The safety concerns re the burning smell would be a constant concern, and the exceptionally poor sound quality unacceptable.I could not recommend this product.

Not for me.
The device specification sheet is impressive, but is it? The 4 band radio AM, FM,SW1,SW2.other than the FM frequency the others are obsolete or as near as dam it, I mean DAB + is a must to get the maximum out of a radio, the FM stations tune in and tune out again, pointless. You can upload your music by USB or the SD ports...It has a Cassette player. And if all else fails you can connect via Bluetooth...Connecting to the device via Bluetooth is easy when paired the device will let out a loud bing bong, and you then have the option of streaming music to the device...The Retro look of the device harks back to bygone days when all the controls were big and clunky, and on this device, they sure are the Volume and radio tuning knobs especially, the overall look is very Marmite some will like, others not.I have more negative than positive points...First, the player has to be connected to the mains, and the supplied lead is very short, you can Of course power the player with Batteries 4 UM1 11.5 V which you have to supply, in this day and age you would expect the device to be rechargeable, and thus more portable. The Cassette player runs smoothly enough, but I have a minimal 1 cassette library, you do have the option of recording from the radio to blank Cassettes which are still easy to purchase. To sum up...SQ 2/5 To say the sound is flat is an understatement, there is no bass, the mids and highs sound the same, there is nothing but a tinny mono sound, and if you crank up the volume the SQ degrades even further.Build Quality 1/5 It is awful, flimsy, and plastic...VFM 3/5 The player has an impressive Functions list, and if you have a large library of music cassettes along with the 4 band radio, USB/SD card connectivity, Bluetooth, and Headphone jack, you get a lot, but sometimes less is more, instead of 4 bands, DAB would offer much more, a rechargeable battery is a must for such a device, it's hardly massive and then the SQ that has to be better.
