I found this wall desk and loved it. Due to the deductible for our car accident I had used up my “fun” money for several months. Then I found it listed as “used”. Said it would have small cosmetic flaws. I knew I could fix cosmetic flaws for less than the regular price. It arrived and was absolutely perfect! No flaws that I could find, all parts included, no problems. Very happy with that choice!The other thing possible buyers should know is that, yes, your laptop will fit nicely in the slanted shelf. The description should mention that. I was a little apprehensive on that score and found only one reviewer who noted it would. Unless your laptop is oversized or larger that the dimensions of the cabinet it will be fine.That being said, I wish it had a place for a cord to come to the outside of the desk. My husband had to drill one so we could keep power to our ancient computer with no battery backup, the reason for buying the desk.It fits nicely against the wall, and looks good.This was a good purchase for me and I highly recommend this wall desk.

This is one of the best gifts I ever bought. Great for the small room with a bed, dresser and chair and not much room to spare.It's plenty big enough even for a laptop. It comes all put together, very secure. The color is beautiful especially if you look at it like I do. The first time I saw it, I could picture a writer, poet or just anyone who loved to write, even draw. When I opened it I was amazed at the space they made for every little detail you would want in a desk top, right down to a drawer for pencils, pens etc.Definitely worth it, didn't come with pieces to put together, they shipped it pronto and well packaged. Guess you could say, I'm one ecstatic customer. I have bought several things from this seller, they are courteous, more than helpful and just wonderful to do business with. The media could not be loaded. This wall mounted desk is a blessing in disguise . It was easy to install . It’s sturdy and convenient when I do. It feel like going to my downstairs office . I can hop out of bed and pay my bills without trying to sit on the bed with a book . It is saving my back too. Voila ! I highly recommend SEI . I am very happy with this desk. Installed it in my dining room so I can pull over a dining room chair to sit at it. I was a skeptical about ordering furniture online at first but, it arrived very well packaged with no dents or damage of any kind. The desk is better quality and looks less “cheap” than I was expecting so that was a pleasant surprise. Works perfectly to hide away desk items from small children when not in use. The only negative comment I would make is that the holes were not spaced far enough apart to atttach it to two studs. It’s only attached to a stud on one side and attached with wall inserts on the other side and the middle. I did purchase heavier duty wall inserts than those that were provided. The ones that it came with it were pretty pathetic.

This is a great product for people who don’t plan on using the desk a lot. Definitely would not recommend for kids. I got two of these in the beginning of the year for my girls 6 and 11 years old, it is now August and in that time I have had to replace stripped hinge screws at least twice for both desk. I finally added a kick stand as it takes minimal to no weight pressing down on the desk before the very tiny hinge screws come out of the particle board. I also had to remount one of them with better screws than what was sent in the packaging (yes I know how to mount things on a wall, 10 years of home construction experience) the screws actually stayed in the wall but the particle board was not strong enough and ripped from around the screw. I have also had to replace the latch on one of them. The girls weren’t even at the desk at the time and the latch just snapped and the desk flip out section came slamming down (that was the third time I had to replace the stripped hinges) DO NOT GET THIS IF YOU NEED SOMETHING THAT CAN STAND UP TO ANY TYPE OF CONSISTENT USE. I would have been better off building my own out of solid wood and it would have cost 1/2 the amount.

I used this desk as a vanity in my bedroom. We have small bedrooms in my home measuring about 100 sq ft or so each. We only have one bathroom to boot (with 5 people living here!). We do not have counter space in our bathroom for me to keep my stuff out and only a small single closet for everyone's toiletries. It was horrible trying to get in the bathroom every morning for a face care/makeup routine and don't even think about trying to style your hair!Enter the wall desk....After setting it up, I attached mini LED lights around the interior. With a little drilling, you can hide the wires just fine and mount a little mirror on the back.I'm not one of those people that needs EVERY kind of makeup. I find what works and stick with it, plus a few extras to test out here and there. It fits everything perfectly!In the drawer, I'm able to fit a fold up hair dryer, my flat iron, and a flat iron brush, along with extra face care supplies, sports headbands, and hair ties. Up top, I fit makeup, hair products, perfume, and more. I store jewelry separately, though you can use the cork board on the inside and get creative to hang bracelets, necklaces, and earrings.Ultimately, it met an untimely end. My 6 year old daughter was sneaking makeup from it and when she opened it, she leaned (full body weight) on the door. The hinges didn't stand a chance. My husband tried to repair it to no avail. It is irredeemable now as a desk...but I can still use it for storage.So what's next? I will definitely buy another one. I loved this thing! And I will be buying one for my daughter since she also has a small bedroom and now knows she can't lean on it, lest it break. I hope you enjoy it as well!
