Works great so far, it is quieter than my Bissel Air320 which is nice. The lights on the top of this unit can be dimmed or turned off altogether if you had it in a room where you sleep. It provides a small amount of white noise but not as much as a traditional fan. Overall worth the money and I did buy a second unit.

For the price, simplicity of use and set up - this is a solid buy. So far have one in a space over 1,000 sq ft, and it does a pretty good job of cleaning up the air quality. I have the same unit in a large bedroom that works faster / better - but its alot smaller space - so that is to be expected. The units run quiet, the Auto mode works well. If you anticipate cooking something that smells, it doesn't hurt to crank it up before you start cooking (depending on the space). This works well for us. If you don't want app-controlled devices or complex equipment - this unit does the trick. Definitely recommend!

Seems to work well. My house must have good air quality as it always comes up green. Lost a star because thebottom lid under the filter does not lock into place but floor keeps it attaches but when I pick it up lid stays onfloor.

Needed an Air purifier for my house and after comparing other air purifiers on here for some time I can definitely say I’m glad we went with this one!First off the design is clean and is extremely easy to use. It’s equipped with a 3-Stage Filtration HEPA Filter I and already I am noticing a cleaner, dust free type room with healthier air quality. This thing is great and has 3 Speeds, a Timer and an Ultra Quiet Sleep Mode. Just make sure you remove the plastic bag inside where the HEPA filter is pre installed before turning it on. The functionality of this air cleaner is simple to use and size is great and most importantly IT WORKS!If you’re researching to buy one don’t second guess it and just buy this air purifier instead.

I have been using air purifiers for about 5 years now. I have a Bissell air320 and a Myair+ that I noticed right away that it kept my air cleaner in my bedroom/house. Mostly just noticed it took odors out of my old house and all my furniture seemed less dusty. Seems to capture a lot of my cats hair/dander. My mom recently found out she was allergic to cats and dogs (we have 1 dog & 2 cats), but the air purifiers are in my area of the house that we own together. I always felt like both of the Bissell units were overpriced when I purchased them, but now that they have grown in popularity, many companies are producing air purifiers because they really do help clean the air you breathe. The Amazon Basics air purifier was exactly what my mom needed for her bedroom/main area of the house. Like the Bissell ones, it is only loud when the fan is on max, but if you keep it on automatic, it will rarely ever be on max speed. Cooking is about the only thing I notice that will put it on high speed. I highly recommend this air purifier based on the price compared to other brands of similar quality.The only issue that I find is that you can't keep the unit on automatic mode and night mode (dims all lights by probably 80-90%) at the same time. It automatically switches it into low manual fan speed when you switch to night mode. But, that wasn't enough for me to not give it 5 stars.

Quiet operation and easy to clean, reusable filter are the best features. My former air filter had a very difficult to use layers of filters and I could never figure out which order to put the different pieces in. Controls are simple. Love the night light and air quality indicator. Make sure you take the plastic wrapping over the filter before operating-it sounded noisy and I opened to fine the plastic still in place. I should have read the instruction manual first-it's very clear under "setting up the air purifier". Well priced too.

I’m a fan of other Amazon products but this one stinks. Feels like cheap plastic and is super noisy. It doesn’t include any activated carbon so the filter isn’t going to help with smells, gasses or small stuff in the air. There are many better options out there that will actually filter the air quietly, look nice and not wake you up at night, like blue air.
