Bulldog Cases Tactical Shotgun Case

Well made of quality materials, this case will fit many shotguns with a total length of 40" of less. That includes many gun styles and brands. The outer material is tough. The inner part of the case is well padded and soft, protecting your valuable firearm. The case is deep enough to handle guns with flashlights or optical sights. I have a Mossberg Maverick 12 ga with an 18.5" barrel and it fits perfectly. Also room enough inside for my extra 28" ventilated rib field barrel. Excellent case for the money. It also has 2 nice flap pockets covering elastic shell loops on one side of the case. Well priced and well made. A good value at this price point.

First of all the outer material, pockets, velcro, and zipper are all heavier duty than I expected. Stitching seems really solid, with heavy thread. All of this is very nice. The straps sewn around the whole bag and become the handles is a nice design that should hold up well over time. It’s a PERFECT fit for the Mossberg 930 SPX or tactical. I am very happy with this, it suits the need perfectly and having two quality pockets is icing on the cake.Downsides: I’d like to have seen the d-ring attached to a strap sewn down the backside of the bag (similar to the way the handles are), rather than straining the .75” seam where it’s currently installed with the full weight of the bag and contents. I plan to hang this by the actual handles, if it gets hung up at all.My one and only concern is how much the charging handle sticks out. This will probably be the case for every soft case, just something to be mindful of.Dual zippers would have been nice, as one reviewer mentioned but this is definitely not a deal breaker.Happy shooting folks! :)

Very nice case, fits my Benelli M2 Tactical perfectly! My shotgun is 40" long and has an 18.5" barrel, pistol-grip stock, side-mounted light (M3X on a Nordic clamp) and a stock-mounted 4-shell holder (Mesa). The case measures closer to 41" but fits all of the shotgun's extra protruding bits easily. I don't think the case would be tall enough if I had a red dot mounted on a top rail but it's pretty much perfectly sized for my current setup. The zipper doesn't lock but runs smoothly and has a nice larger-sized pull. There aren't any sling attachments but there is a small D-ring for hanging the case up for storage. The two pockets both have elastic loops for 6 shells each but can hold more shells or other items instead. The fabrics used on the inside and outside are both fairly soft and flexible. Combined with the amount of foam/padding used, the case is able to conform to the shotgun but still protect everything. Overall I'm really impressed and I think this is a great budget-friendly case. I'll update my review if I my first impressions change.

If you understand that this is not marketed as premium grade, I think you will be happy with it. I bought the 42” for a Mossberg 590 (18.5” barrel). It fits perfectly.Pros:It is well made, the zipper works smoothly, there is a small d-ring near one end to attach a tag perhaps. The padding is not generous, but adequate. The carrying handles are made and attached well.Cons:There is neither a shoulder strap or places to attach a shoulder strap provided.

Converted an old Springfield Savage 12 Gauge pump to a shorter-barreled home defense weapon. Awesome job, even if I did do it myself! Needed a case for it, and just didn't want to break the bank. This Bulldog case is exactly what I needed. The gun is 29 inches long, and fits very comfortably in this case. I've installed fiber-optic sights, side-mounted flashlight, and a sling, and there's plenty of room in this case. I was not expecting a shoulder strap, so I'm perfectly content with the carry handles on this case. The inside is nicely lined, and the case is well-padded, with a heavy duty zipper. The two outside pockets are nice to carry secured, a few extra rounds. The gun looks great in the case, and carries quite easily. I could have spent a lot more to get a lot less, so overall, I'm very pleased with this item.

Bulldog cases are cheap and functional. I wouldn’t trust an heirloom to them, but they’re perfect for knock-arounds.This case comfortably holds an 18” 870 with the original factory buttstock. I have to laugh at the reviews complaining that “it says ‘shotgun’ but my 28” goose gun doesn’t fit”; it also give you the measurements of the bag. One star off because the loop in the pockets seem like a better idea than they are - they take up the middle of the pocket making it otherwise unusable. One star off because there isn’t a D-ring to lock the zipper pull to.

The seller (Big T Products) really knows how to package an item for shipment. It even arrived a day early. This case fits my Mossberg 590 with 18.5 inch barrel perfectly with just the right amount of room for misc stuff.Let's see how it holds up under light use. Recommend!
