I didn't follow the directions. Instead I grabbed round car wax sponge and applied this balm in large amounts on the seat vinyl. After rubbing it in for about 10 minutes I was done, seriously. It was minimal effort and easy clean up. I used it on all of the seats and have half a jar left over. It dried quickly and was ready overnight. Wiping a clean cloth on the vinyl did not remove any color after it dried. It was applied to "vinyl leatherette" car seats made in 1968. See the attached before and after pictures. It's hard to mess this up. If too much is put on just wipe it off before it dries. Instead of dabbing the sponge I simply spooned large globs of balm onto the sponge and then quickly spread it out evenly over all surfaces.

Was a good product

Colors not as they appear in ad. Could not mix anything to come close to sofa color. Drys quickly. Could not return as I tried using the product.

Didn’t give a perfect repair, but for our vinyl chairs that had scuff marks, it covered up and made it look better. The step of using rubbing alcohol and buffing didn’t seem to do anything. The rubbing alcohol just dissolves the repair pain and mushes it up. Too bad it comes in such large quantities. I only needed a few dabs so have multiple lifetimes of supply.

Easy to use, refurbished an antique chair seat with cracks up to 1/8 inch wide in the leather. Looks great.

I had a pair of quality leather work boots (Redwings) that were in need of some TLC. I scrubbed them with a leather cleaner. After they dried, I applied this cream and massaged it in with a soft cloth. Buffed it when it dried. I was very surprised at the outcome. Looked almost new again! A uniform deep lasting color. It has a semi gloss sheen and a bit on the darker brown side. It's like a creamy polish and leather stain in one product. Word of advice, wear gloves, it will stain your skin. I recommend this product.

LOVE!! I got this because I found a Marc Jacobs’s the bubble leather backpack for $1.50 at the thrift store with some light damage. This stuff really repaired it, I thought it might not work well because the price but it did! I wish I had a picture of the before but I have an after lol
