We got this to put on the tiled step leading to the shower cubicle, to make it safer to step on when coming out of the shower, especially as we both have mobility issues – safety is paramount and we needed to try to prevent slips and falls. At the moment we have black trim, so we got the grey rto replace the black as it matches better with the tiled floor.There aren't any instructions included but it's clear what you need to do to install it. It's important to clean the area thoroughly where you want to install the trim and to ensure that it's totally dry before you start.The trim arrived coiled with the adhesive side coiled outwards, so we needed to lay it flat to try to unkink it before applying to the step.It's pretty easy to use. Cut to size, peel one end of the backing off and stick the trim in place, then pull the backing off gradually, pressing the trim firmly into place as you go. The adhesive is very strong, so make sure you position it properl6y as you go. We found using a hair-drier (plugged in OUTSIDE the shower room!) handy to help unroll and fix the trim in place. At £21, this anti-slip stair nosing is decent value for money, though you might find slightly cheaper options on Amazon. Glad I ordered as it has been useful, but maybe a bit of mixed feelings. No bad, bit stiff sorry

While the quality of the non-slip trim is great, its stickability isn't. As other reviewers have mentioned, I found that the glue that is preapplied to the item isn't all that great and is already looking like it will need regluing at some point with a stronger adhesive. It's easy to fit and looks great, but the adhesion definitely lets the product down, which is a shame.At the time of reviewing, the item was priced at £21 for 5m x 5cm and £31 for 10m x 5cm. For me, that's a little on the expensive side, considering there is a high probability that you will need to reglue them in the future with a stronger adhesive.

The Gaahing Vinyl Non-Slip Staircase Step is a great solution for slippery stairs. It's easy to cut and apply, making installation a breeze. While it's still too early to comment on the durability and long-term effectiveness, it certainly provides a much safer surface on my stairs. The black color blends well with my staircase, and the anti-slip feature is exactly what I needed. A simple and practical fix for anyone dealing with slippery steps!

Sadly these are just too big, warpy and don't stick down well. Ruined some steps and had to spend ages cleaning them. Lesson learned - don't buy things like this when they come in a roll!

I ordered this to protect the edge of my deck where I step down onto a pathway. The adhesion is not great and being outdoors will almost certainly fail but will just fix with a better adhesive if it does.
