Works in hand router

I wasn’t sure if this would work in my hand router since it specifically says CNC, but it worked fine for me. I needed to make some dado joints for a spice rack I made and this worked well for my needs. It cut smoothly and seems durable. Looking forward to using it on more projects in the future.

Good enough

I used this to level the spoilboard on my hobby CNC that utilizes a standard palm router. It fit well and is well-balanced. It left a pretty smooth surface. However, it feels like the kind of bit that will only get a few uses before dulling. Fortunately, I only have one spoilboard, so it's served its purpose. The case that the bit comes in is really cheap, and not really for long-term storage.

Works great

I've been collecting various kinds of router bits because I'm planning to make some picture frames. This one works great for carving a square slot - I really like it.

Inexpensive, straight carbide

Haven't run this bit yet but the construction is fine. Straight shank, balanced head, and carbide flutes that are straight and reasonably sharp. This type of bit is super easy to touch up with a diamond file as you put the miles on it. Flutes are aligned properly, as tested on my granite slab ('A' grade).

All 4 flutes are level with each other. Works well in my 3hp Milwaukee router.

Using this in a shop-made flattening jig with my 3hp Milwaukee router. I cleaned the bit well and touched it up with a 1200 diamond hone card before use (I do this with all my new router bits). The 3hp router handles this bit well and my older one is a larger 3". Eventually, I will buy a carbide insert bit but in no rush for that now. I do have a 16" jointer and 16" planer so I only use the flattening jig on wider pieces than 16". So, it will not get a ton of use, but it's good to have when I need it. These bits are fairly easy to sharpen/touch up and will last a long time if taken care of. The trick is to not take off too much material in one go. Being 2" in size it's not great for very large project, but for medium to smaller size projects it will be just fine.

Well balanced and accurate router bit

I got this for a CNC router, primarily for cutting 3D miters with a 3D toolpath. The larger diameter your router bit is, the further you can step over without creating scallops, which means faster run times and smoother results from my 3D toolpaths. I do rough out the 3D miters with a hogger router bit first, and then I'm using this bit for a finishing operation. I run this at 10,000RPM on my HSD spindle and it runs nice and smooth, no detectable vibration at all. The diameter is also very accurate, as accurate as I can measure with a caliper, and certainly good enough for woodworking. My 3D miters come out very smooth with undetectable scallops and without an excessive amount of 3D passes, thanks to the 2" diameter.I am very happy with the quality of this router bit and it's really working well for me.

Good value

Used it to face off a small walnut end cut blank on a CNC router. Did exactly what I'd expect of it - took nice wide passes and removed all the uneveness.Pretty good value.
