It's comfortable but sometimes you have to adjust it

So I bought this pillow for a trip from the U.S. to England. As someone who absolutely loathes flights, never mind long ones, I planned to be dead asleep the majority of the time. That's where this pillow came in! The memory foam was very comfortable but very firm. I think the firm support is important on a long flight. However, it could be too firm for some, in which case perhaps you could find something like it with a pillow top?My neck and head were reasonably comfortable the way there and back. I used the pillow in a variety of positions- behind the neck, in front of the neck, against the window- and enjoyed it each time. My flights would have been worse without it.Another plus in my mind is that it is so portable! There is an elastic strap along the back to attach it to, say, the handle of your rolling suitcase. It's very elastic, which can be good if you need to attach it over something big, but a drawback in the opposite scenario as it could hang too low.That's my take! At this price, this little pillow will probably serve you well.

Just what I needed. Quality construction and materials. Love that it has the removable pad for adjusting. Pleased with purchase.

I loved this pillow when I first purchased it. We have family that lives a few hours away and with the constant back and forth I needed something to use in the car if I were to fall asleep to prevent neck pain. When I first received the pillow, it was great! I loved that it had the strap to secure it to the back of the seat for storage and it definitely kept my head in place...The strap was the first thing to go... it lasted a few weeks and then tore away from the rest of the pillow. I can't even say that I was mad about it, because it was convenient, but it certainly wasn't a deal-breaker and it didn't interfere with the pillow's function (it was a clean break). Then my husband decided to use it during one of my turns driving. Now the pillow is ever-so-slightly too wide for my smaller neck and my head wobbles around in it if I use it. I'm not sure WHY this happened... you would think memory foam would go back to it's original position, but this didn't. I miss when it was nice and snug around my neck... still works, just not as comfortable.Overall, not a bad product and especially not bad for the price just be aware that with certain items you get what you pay for.

The removable insert to make the thickness adjustable is a game changer. So much more comfortable than the thickness of others. I've used it for 5 months or more and have no complaints about the quality. Give it a try.

Too soft

I ordered this neck pillow for my husband who is going on a 2000-mile trip by train in two weeks. He'll be traveling coach which means no place to lay down to sleep for 36 hours. Trying to sleep sitting up can be difficult. I just returned from a trip myself by plane and noticed a lot of travelers with these pillows either stuffed in their carry-on bags or even wearing them around their necks as they walked through the airports. It seemed like every other airport terminal store had some variation of neck pillow for sale. From this I gathered that these must be a good thing.I had tried an inflatable pillow for car travel in the past and wasn't very impressed, but these memory foam pillows are totally different...so soft and comfortable...and your head doesn't "bounce" on it like on the inflatable ones. The pillow molds to your head/face and cradles it securely. The cover is a soft velour and has a zipper so that you can remove it for washing. One nice feature about this particular pillow is that it has an elastic strap so you can hang it over the handle of your carry-on or over a headrest.This is going to make my husband's long train ride much more comfortable since he'll be able to sleep upright or in a slightly reclined seat.
