These little speakers put out a nice quality sound at a decent volume. There are different ways to connect them to a source, including Bluetooth and plug-in. BUT, they are hard to pair with a source or with each other at first. I bought 2 to connect with each other and to my microphone when I'm lecturing in a large classroom, making one of my tutorial videos, going to the drive-in, or listening to streaming services through my phone. I wish they had a built-in radio receiver instead of always having to go through an app on my phone, but the price probably would be higher then, so oh well. Minus 1 star for annoying me by taking several tries to pair together.

I needed a speaker for my phone for the kitchen or the Alexa. I like to listen to audiobooks while I clean. This little speaker is powerful! I am amazed. I really like it.

I received this Jtek Technology Bluetooth speaker yesterday and have been testing it out. For a small and budget-friendly speaker, it does a pretty good job. The sound quality is solid—clear for both music and voice, making it a nice option for casual listening. It’s definitely not something that will blow away an audiophile, but for everyday use, it holds up well.The audio is fairly rich, though it does lack a bit of bass. If you’re expecting deep, room-shaking low-end, this might not be the one, but for its size, it still delivers a balanced sound. Vocals come through clearly, and it works well for podcasts, calls, or background music. I haven’t had it long enough to test out the full battery life or long-term durability, but so far, it’s been working smoothly.The waterproof feature is a nice bonus, making it more versatile for different settings, whether indoors or outdoors. It pairs quickly with Bluetooth, and I haven’t had any connection issues so far. For the price, it’s a solid little speaker—nothing high-end, but good enough for what it is. If it holds up well over time, I’d say it’s a great deal.

DJing leads to owning a lot of different speakers for professional and recreational use, which gives me a lot of comparison points. This $10 Bluetooth Speaker still managed to blow my mind though. Despite its 5 watt output, Jtek’s Bluetooth Speaker generates a fair amount of bass, providing a very full sound. This speaker punches way above its weight, so much so in fact, that I’m able to compare it to my Bose SoundLink Bluetooth Speaker to a certain extent. Since the SoundLink is an incredible sounding portable speaker that’s substantially more expensive, this comparison shouldn’t be possible. The main area where they nearly achieve parity is their maximum volume. Understandably, when the Soundlink’s volume is maxed out, it still maintains its distortion free punchy bass. Jtek’s Speaker still offers its fullest bass at the 75% volume level. If you go any further, the bass sounds less full, and becomes overly crisp sounding. It still manages to keep its clean sounding mids and highs, with little to no distortion though. That’s an impressive showing for $10 no matter how you look at it.In terms of features, the Jtek Bluetooth Speaker offers seamless stereo pairing if you have two of them. It’s also waterproof, which makes it perfect for playing music in the shower. In addition to that, if you open the gray rubber tab in the back of the speaker, you’ll see a range of different ports. Some of these include an SD Card slot, as well as a USB port, and a 3.5mm stereo port for either headphones, or auxiliary audio output through the speaker. There are quite a few $10 Bluetooth speakers that I’ve tested out recently. While they had a similar feature set, coupled with clean sound, their smaller size limited their overall bass output. While Jtek’s Speaker is still very portable, it uses its increased depth to produce full, superb sound. It also manages to be one of the few waterproof portable speakers in this price range that offers such ample bass. This louder, fuller sound profile gives it the edge over similarly sized $10 Bluetooth speakers. That level of performance warrants 5 stars.
