Beautiful set, I really like the design. Very well packaged, nothing damaged and a good way to store if you don't have cabinet space. No Tiffany's but still very decent quality! The designs have held up so far as well. They appear to have some resilience to scratches, I'd still be careful, maybe not use them with those relatives that cut meat like a lumberjack.

Pretty decent set of chinaware. Does feel a bit light but it does look decently well. The whole set was affordable so cant complain

I love that these are made by a family owned company right here in the USA. They are beautiful plates and it comes with so many pieces, including a teapot and salt and pepper shakers! When I saw this was bone china I was worried I couldn't put these in the dishwasher, but I was thrilled to see that these are dishwasher safe. That's amazing. That would be the one big dealbreaker for me because I just wouldn't use them much. These are beautiful and formal looking, but they are fine for everyday use. This set would make a great wedding present. It is so affordable and you don't have to register for individual pieces and end up with half a set. Everything comes in this box. This is just ideal.

I own two sets of fine china with gold rims. Both sets need to be hand washed. I am so happy to have a gold rimmed set that can go in the dishwasher. What is referred to as CHINA is usually made of porcelain, which is made from a white clay consisting of quartz, feldspar, and kaolin (a silicate mineral). The clay pieces are fired at a high temperature. The resulting china is beautiful with a shinny glaze finish. Porcelain china is prone to chipping or cracking if not handled carefully. BONE CHINA is made from a similar clay mixture as china with bone ash added. Bone ash is made from animal bones, usually cattle, heated at a high temperature then pulverized into a very fine powder. Bone china is made of porcelain type clay and 30% - 50% bone ash. Bone china is fired twice in the production process. The bone ash gives the bone china strength and durability. It is lighter in weight than porcelain. It is more resistant to chipping or breaking, with strength coming from the bone ash. The bone ash also gives bone china a beautiful translucence. If you hold a plate up to light, you can see a shadow of your hand on the other side of the plate. Bone china is creamy white with a warm look. FINE BONE CHINA is the ultimate luxury in dinnerware. It is made like bone china, usually with 50% bone ash, and then a fine layer of porcelain is added. Fine bone china is lightweight, tin, delicate, translucent, has a beautiful creamy white color, with a smooth, glossy finish and a subtle radiance. I love having various styles of dinnerware ... I would've liked to have gotten a full service for 8 but I really don't have anywhere to store it with all the serving pieces as well.This set is truly Bone China. It's lighter than ceramic and more durable. The price on this is really a bargain, I was surprised when I opened it.A wonderful asset is that the set is dishwasher safe. I washed it before I stored it so I can just take it out next week for an anniversary dinner. I'm so happy that I took a chance on this set.Came packed quite well, not one blemish!Recommended

This is a very high quality set of bone china. It's a very good value for the money and is priced on par or even below items of similar quality. And although it says dishwasher safe, I haven't been brave enough to put them in there yet, but they stand up to hand washing well. They are sized right and are as advertised they have a good way to them and a nice even gloss. We don't use these everyday but a few times we have they stand up forks and knives scratches very well. This is a quality item and I definitely recommend them.
