Race up these ramps in your Veloster or other car. Perfect.
Just got them and just drove my 2016 Hyundai Veloster up onto them without any issue at all. The angle works. Does NOT hit. They're the easiest ramps I've ever driven up on. They don't move at all when driving up, or back down. A breeze to use solo. I was on concrete.I have some Rhino Ramps, but I've never felt comfortable with the molded plastic-like material and ribbed structure underneath. I could always see portions bulging which I didn't like even though I used jackstands in conjunction with them. These are solid, heavy-duty foam or foam-like material. Solid material all the way through. No ribbed structure supporting the load. Solid. They are very light, about 6 pounds each. They're pretty amazing. The 7 inches of additional clearance gained is great, and you can get that in a matter of a very few minutes. They're more expensive than most ramps I've owned, but the way I look at it is that I'll have them for the next 20 years or more, so the cost per year is incredibly low, and the amount of cash saved doing my own maintenance and repairs, not to mention the convenience, is WELL worth it.I used the info in one of the product pics to determine the 40 inchers would work for my car.You wedge a yardstick under the front tire (pointing straight forward), angle it up until it hits the lowest point of the bumper/structure, measure from the end of the yardstick to the ground and if it's 10.5 inches or more, they'll work. Mine measured about 13 inches. If you can afford these, get them. I wouldn't hesitate once you know the angle works for your specific car. The quality and strength are built in.I love this tool.Mark

The way Rhino Ramps should be....works perfectly with my 2012 Prius "v"
The clear the bottom of the front bumber of my 2012 prius "v" with an inch to spare.Brute products has great service. They are a family company, and they answer the phone in person. I got the Rebate wheel chocks in about two weeks.I would definitely buy them again, if I had to do it all over, again. These are individually cut from foam blocks and sprayed with a urethane coating that had bits of "gripy" runner on all of the surfaces. After having a 10 year love-hate relationship with the Blitz original Rhino Ramps, I've had enough and discovered these Race Ramps. These are what Rhino Ramps should be.In one review of the Rhino Ramps, commenting readers chided one Rhino Ramp's review when the user stated that he ran over the top stops on them.I ran over the top pof the Rhino Ramps, too. The end stops are too low. If the Rhino ramps did not slide under the wheels on my concrete driveway as they did, it would have been and easy climb to the top. I compensated for the sliding with more power to the accelerator. Consequently, the tire climbed over the end stop before I released the accelerator.A chunk in each of the ramp's back stop were taken out by the pinch weld rails of the car's unibody in front of the rear tire. It was a chore jacking up the car to remove the damaged ramps. Years later, I am reminded of the tedious care that must be taken in using the Rhino Ramps.Recently, Rhino has redesigned their ramps to make the lighter (to save the cost of materials, I guess) and to allow them to nest in storage. A few reviewers has stated that the 8000 units spread out with the weight of a car on them. The reviews stated that their 1200 units were better. Unfortunately, the back stops were not made higher. Apparently, Blitz decided it was not worth the extra cost in materials and shipping cost, as multiple units could not be nested and stacked, like I saw them on the floor at Walmart.Even with the extra cost, I decided to order the Race Ramps from Amazon. I couldn't be happier. They are as light as the Rhinos. They don't slide, so you do not have to risk "gunning" the accelerator and risk driving over them. Then again, the back stops would prevent this happening, as they are at least twice as high as the back stops on the Rhinos.I noticed that Race Ramps do not have the slight depression that the Rhino's have to keep the tires from rolling un the car up position. In use, I found the little depressions not necessary, although they may be slightly helpful.I always thought foam was cheap, used for disposable packing material and broke apart easily. It's appears not so with the Race Ramps. I hope they last a long time.

Performed perfectly
Used these ramps for oil change. Performed flawlessly. I would say the majority of the positive reviews are correct. These are remarkably light, almost too light, to the point that it makes you wonder how they’re meant to support that much weight. But they do. Also very non slip - had them on my flat smooth garage floor, and they stayed put while I drove my SUV on top. Remarkable product. You can feel safe and secure that your search for the right ramps is over. These are the ones to get. Took me a long time and a lot of research, weighed the quality and sturdiness against price and value, and these fit the bill on all counts. Not the cheapest, but you really do get what you pay for and piece of mind is the greatest value you can obtain. I always put jack stands under the pinch welds/lift points in conjunction with the ramps, just for added security and piece of mind. They lift the car enough to easily fit a pair of jack stands. Safety first!
