They handled the fungus gnats!
I have approximately 12 house plants that live in three different areas of my house. I also happened to have a massive fungus gnat infestation due to these plants. The fungus gnats were in every single plant in the house and even after I threw away the rather expensive plant that I purchased from an online nursery (not Amazon) that started the infestation, the fungus gnat problem persisted. I tried a peppermint plant insecticide, a root wash product, cinnamon, neem oil, mosquito bits, glue traps, partial soil replacement, physically vacuuming the bugs up, a powered insect trap, and even just not watering the plants for several weeks. These fungus gnats were causing serious harm to some of the plants and basically were the final nail in the coffin for a plant that I'd had for more than 20 years. Some of the remedies worked to a degree. The mosquito bits were mildly effective at reducing the swarm, but did not completely kill the fungus gnats. The glue traps were always full of the adults, but did nothing to stop the larvae. After six months of trying everything I could think of and still having a massive problem, I was at my wits end and was seriously contemplating just throwing away hundreds of dollars worth of plants (including a large monstera and a kaffir lime tree). That was when I read about nematodes. I read the reviews, and they seemed to be as optimistic as literally all of the reviews I had read about the other products. I read reviews about them being delivered with an ice pack and that ice pack being warm. I gasped at the shipping costs being almost as much as the nematodes themselves. But then, I figured to cautiously give them a shot without getting my hopes up, as these would be my last resort.I followed the instructions and placed the nematodes in approximately 2 gallons of water and delivered them to my houseplants. I then kept the soil moist over the following two weeks. I do not have a fungus gnat problem in my house anymore. I am so relieved. I would give this product six stars if I could. If you have fungus gnats, I would highly recommend getting some nematodes and some glue traps. Skip the other products as they don't work very well. These are the real deal. These microscopic critters ate away my problem and hopefully will do the same for you.

ONLY THING THAT WORKED
Fully eradicated fungus gnats in all houseplants within 7 days of application. Absolutely zero gnats now a month later. Will never use any other method. No other method has ever worked. Skip the sticky traps imagining they’re helping. They don’t kill the larvae in the soil. Lights don’t work, peroxide only kills larvae and not pregnant adult gnats, neem oil ineffective, diatomaceous earth ineffective once wet. What a fantastic, ORGANIC, NON-PESTICIDE, fully effective with ONE treatment method for eradicating fungus gnats. LITERALLY DON’T BOTHER WITH OTHER METHODS.

Yay!! No more fungus gnats!
I love these little critters! I bought this months ago as my last ditch effort to kill the fungus gnat infestation in my houseplants. I also had some kind of small soil mite bugs (maybe soil aphids?).*ALL* the pests have been eradicated by these beneficial nematodes, and my soil— and my home— are free of annoying gnats! This product is a bit pricey, but well worth the money!! I will definitely buy this again if I need it, but so far, still pest-free several months after using this. Highly recommend!

fighting fungus gnats
I received the nematodes on time, the ice pack had melted but the contents were still cool. Be prepared with several bowls to hold plants while drench the pots. I treated the houseplants over a week ago and it has slowed them down. I did find one gnat on a trap today.

Got rid of fungus gnats
Brand new indoor plant owner and two of my plants came with fungus gnats, which quickly reproduced and became a mess. I used the black sticky traps (which definitely work well), but those only catch adult gnats, not any of the eggs/larvae in the soil. Ordered and administered one dose of the nematodes and after a couple of weeks, saw significantly less gnats. Ordered and administered a second dose (just for good measure) and I now have zero gnats on any of the traps. Hooray! It's a little tricky to administer the nematodes ... in that they ideally should be applied at night (or out of sunlight). You have to wet the plant soil a bit ... then mix the nematode solution (in water) and apply it to the plants ... and then immediately water the plants with clean water to help wash the nematodes into the soil. The trick is getting soil wet enough but not so wet the that nematode solution ends up draining out the bottom of the plant. That happened on the first application, which is why I ended up doing a second application.I ordered the 5 million option and I mixed it with distilled water in a water bottles (have to LIGHTLY shake it up to mix the powered nematodes into the water) ... then I poured that into a watering can, cut it with a little bit more distilled water, and that was enough to apply to 3 medium and 5 small house plants. You can dilute the mixture even more to apply to a larger number of plants, as needed.Read the directions well before attempting to apply the treatment so you get the ratios right. As for how the product arrived ... it came well packaged with an icepack that was melted. I watched my delivery notices so I could grab that package as soon as it arrived and get it into the refrigerator until I was ready to use it.I slight learning curve to use this product for the first time but was absolutely worth it to be rid of gnats!

They worked great for the fungus gnats that i had.
It worked perfectly in my coco coir pots for gnats without affecting the safety, quality, or taste of my herb like pesticides would do.
