Reliable, User-Friendly Companion for the Violin: My Experience with the D'Addario Nexxus 360 Tuner
As a violinist, having a dependable tuner is paramount, and the D'Addario Nexxus 360 has proven to be a valuable addition to my instrument case. From the moment I clipped it onto my scroll, I appreciated the secure fit. The rubberized inner lining ensures a solid grip without marring the instrument's finish, providing peace of mind that it will stay firmly in place during use. This is a significant improvement over some other clip-on tuners I've encountered that can feel precarious or prone to slipping. The convenience of the USB-C rechargeable battery is another standout feature. Gone are the days of scrambling for replacement button batteries. The ease of simply plugging it in to recharge is a modern touch that I've quickly come to appreciate. While I haven't meticulously tracked the exact lifespan of a single charge, my experience thus far indicates impressive longevity. It holds its charge remarkably well, ready whenever I need it without the constant worry of it dying mid-practice or performance preparation.Beyond its practical design, the Nexxus 360 is simply effective. The full-color LED screen is clear and easily adjustable, providing excellent visibility in various lighting conditions. The tuning accuracy is spot-on, allowing me to quickly and confidently bring my violin to the correct pitch. Furthermore, the tuner feels well-constructed and comfortable to handle, suggesting a level of durability that should withstand regular use. Overall, the D'Addario Nexxus 360 Rechargeable Violin Tuner offers a seamless and reliable tuning experience, making it a highly recommended tool for any violinist.

Seems pretty accurate so far
The D'Addario Nexxus 360 is a different style of tuner than I'm used to-- in fact, I don't think I've personally ever used one quite like this. That being said, it's pretty easy to use; it clamps on easily and stays in place, and seems pretty accurate when I compare it to my trusty tuner/metronome I've used for years. I can't say it'll be perfect for concerts or the like, but you're probably matching the pitch of your instrument with the rest of the orchestra in that case anyway. This works well enough for at-home practice imo.

Convenient and at least roughly accurate.
This is a convenient violin tuner. It clips onto the instrument with a nice plastic clip that works well. It's rechargeable.I am not sure I would get a lot of use from it though, because how often is your instrument a whole half tone out of tune? That's the resolution of the device: it just gives the note name. I guess if you don't know the pitches from experience, this can give a general idea. There are some lights flashing around the outside, but I don't see a manual describing what they do. Maybe they provide more accuracy, but if so I don't know how to read them. And I don't find a manual, either in the box or online.

Love it!
This is a great tuner! Perfect size for my violin but it also fits on my husband's cello. Easily picks up notes and but is not overly sensitive to other sounds in the room. From what we can tell, it's very accurate. Love that it is rechargeable and I won't need to replace battery! 5 stars! Highly recommend.

Placement problems, inconsistent tuning measurement, not happy.
I bought this. Thought it would be great just picking up instrument vibrations. I struggle though and not happy with it. I clip it where recommended. I have tried different locations and different reference settings. I set 440hz. I don't feel confident it is picking up the correct vibrations. Even open string that are tuned, this clip on doesn't indicate it is in tune, even relative a finer resolution clip on. This new one offten will indicate sharp or flat or struggle to settle on a note. I don't know if my viola bouts have dead spots vibrationally, that is why I have tried other locations. I have tried setting to 439 or 441hz. Or other values. But even still this one is not consistent relative to a finer resolution clip on turn. I want this new one to work since it is rechargeable, the other more stable turner requires battery changes.
