Desert Storm 8.5" x 11" Thick Heavy 100 lb. Card Stock - 25 Pk - 30% Post Consumer Recycled Content

I'm a long time cardmaker who was looking for thicker kraft cardstock. I love the look of my 80lb Neenah desert storm cardstock and was hoping for the same a bit thicker for card bases and die cutting. I wasn't able to find it after searching my favorite online paper crafting stores, so decided to take a chance on this. It's GREAT and the color looks like it matches the Neenah Desrt Storm kraft perfectly (so perhaps it IS neenah brand???)Very satisfied! Packaged very well to prevent bending. Excellent for paper crafters and very happy I decided to take a chance on this purchase - thank you!!!

These are quite thick, very durable, and might require a bone knife or other dull-flattening implement to properly crease if you need to crease them. I recommend using the flat of your hand first to imprint the bend, and then follow up with a bone knife.To test the folding, as well as whether this would be safe with water-based adhesives like most have in their house (Such as Elmer's glue), I made an envelope.As you can see, the cardstock DID warp and wrinkle with the adhesive, despite using a VERY very small, well-spread amount. Not even enough to squeeze out of the edges when flattened and shaped with the bone knife. So, a fast-drying non-water based adhesive OR using double sided tape would be recommended if you have to adhere this to anything. But it's beautiful quality cardstock for other purposes!!

Beautiful color, similar color to Stampin Up Crumb Cake, but much lighter weight, more like 65lb. Would only use as card base for smaller than A2 cards, but will get use for it as background to glue to heavier weight cardstock.

The paper was well packaged. It came with no damage.

I love crafting but don't have a lot of experience with using card stock in my projects. I ordered this Desert Storm 100 lb card stock to give it a try without much idea of what to look for in a good card stock. So far I really like this sturdy material, it's been great to use as the base of many projects including ornaments and holiday cards. This card stock is sturdy and includes 25 sheets per pack. I like the neutral color and the fact that it is made from recycled materials. I've enjoyed working with this card stock and look forward to what I can learn to do with it in the future.

The media could not be loaded. This is nice quality, ultra-smooth Kraft card. The color is not as dark as depicted in the product information. It is much lighter. I like the color, though since I mainly use Kraft as a card base. I think this color works well with blended backgrounds particularly with Distress Inks (see the video.)The cardstock felt light for 100lb, but it is sturdy and held up well to layering, glue, double-sided foam tape, and being spritzed with water.I find the price to be fair. I compared the price of this cardstock with similar brands and found the price per sheet to be consistent with those brands.I had a very positive experience testing this product and creating a fun card in the process!
