Love it.
This is one of the best kitchen appliances I have purchased. It is really easy to use the clean up is so very easy. I do use aluminum foil on the drip pan which makes it easier to wipe down. I have made 2 whole chickens at the same time, I have used the basket for chicken legs, chicken thights, thick pork chops, steak. they turned out really juice. I just add whatever seasoning I want close the basket pop it in and set timer then towards the last 5 min or so I add bbq sauce to the meat and let it rotate a few more times for the bbq sauce to caramelize and it comes out perfect, just as good as the bbq pit. I would highly recommend. I got everything it shows. The veggie tray for the top works really good also. I put frozen corn in there while I was cooking the chicken and it steams it and came out really hot I just added butter and a lil bit of salt, which is how I like it and it was so easy and good.

MAJOR MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT
I get better results roasting in the oven than the results from this product. First, the poultry is brined and a high heat is used with roasting. This rotisserie is a major disappointment. One of the reasons it was purchased was to spare the oven. It needs to be cleaned after roasting as the high heat method does cause smoke (does not impact the taste). BUT, better that than inferior results. So, I am back to using high heat roasting that roasts the chicken in an hour. The second reason it was purchased was the "CLAIM" it can handle a 15lb turkey. My 13lb turkey was bigger than the rotisserie. WHAT A JOKE!!!!!I will buy another product that has a poultry tower AND roasts in an hour without having the chicken tied "just right" and positioned "just right" so it doesn't get burned. Granted, it won't roast a turkey but then I'll know that up front when purchasing it. I'm quite angry that this product wasn't even close to how it was presented. Just another snake oil salesman.

Definitely worth it!
This is a great product. I don't think I've baked a whole chicken since getting a rotisserie. It's better than buying ready made rotisserie chicken in the supermarket because you can choose your own brand and season it to your own taste. I had my first one for almost 10 years before purchasing a second one. I highly recommend it.

Love it but will get the larger size next time.
I love to use the rotating basket to grill steaks. My favorite is the rib-eye which come out reminding me of prime rib. I would like the larger model because it can hold a larger turkey or roast and my oven is always needed for other dishes when I entertain large groups of people. I like the way it roast vegetables with a brushing of oil and that I can move it outdoors in the summer heat.

Good Cooker, Hell to Keep Clean
I bought my Showtime a year ago on the recommendation of my sister, who loved hers. I had one of the little vertical Sunbeam rotisseries (about (dollar amount ...)) that I'd used for dozens of chickens. Being vertical, though, makes doing other meats (e.g. hamburgers, fish steaks) impossible.I must say initially that the packaging and unit are a new hallmark for Ron Popeil and his line of flimsy products. In quality of construction it appears to match most small appliances.I discovered that rounded or cylindrical meats indeed cook well in the oven, browning beautifully. However, these didn't seem to be superior in any way to the ones I've baked in a conventional oven. Just messier to clean up in this unit.Using the flat rack was more problematic. If you imagine the rack rotating in the oven, and follow the rack through its motions, you'll see that the meat closer to the rotational axis isn't exposed to the same level of heat as cuts on the outside of the axis. I've had this happen with hamburgers repeatedly, along with salmon steaks. Plus, again I saw no improvement over my broiled experiences. My biggest problem with the machine is the difficulty cleaning. Grease will tend to spatter and accumulate on the big cogged wheels that go in the machine. The metal interior is not removable in any way, and there really is no way to completely clean. Situated only an inch or so from many meats, the door needs cleaning virtually every time the machine is used; the part of the door where the writing is, is a real mess.I'm not Howard Hughes, but I can't abide a machine that you can't really clean. My little Sunbeam rotisserie has a metal liner all around the inside that slides out. I live near Houston, the roach capital of the world, and I try to keep all appliances and utensils clean.I ended up giving this appliance away to an out-of-town friend about a month ago, and haven't missed it at all. . .

Tacky advertising - but it works as advertised!
After over a year of use, we are still happy with our "Ronco". Without a doubt, the best use is for rotisserie style chicken. It cooks them quickly, evenly and juicy. Beef products have been a disappointment. It disassembles easily for cleaning. And you really can "set it - and forget it"!
