Q: My mustang has the taillights in it and the two brake lights on the outside will work one minute and not work the next. What causes this? Has new bulb

no it sounds like a loose connection. When i installed mine I had to pull the contact points in the harness out a bit before you insert the bulb, that way I knew there would be proper contact. If that does not work the harness if faulty, and I would send it back for a replacement.

Q: Are these tail lights tinted already?

i bought just the bulb kit not the whole tail light kit. The bulbs were standard 1157 clear bulbs.Of course the original lens was standard red plastic. I think the true entire assembly replacement is smoked. Hope this helps.
