Very stylish look great in my bathroom and seem consistent.The speak your weight feature is great, but when my wife gets on the scales it says " One at a time please" which she thinks is rude of it

I'm so pleased with these bathroom scales. Just simply step onto the scales to activate and the weight reading is consistently accurate. The weight reading is so easy to read (3cm high and 4cm wide for me at 8st 6lbs, could be slightly wider if 10st or over I suppose (I'm following Dr Caldwell B Esselstyn's nutrition-rich diet given in his book Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease following experiencing a heart attack last year and have naturally reached the weight I remember being in my younger years). The weight reading stays lit for 10 seconds.

Firstly these are a very smart looking set of scales, the white gloss finish is really nice to look at and will complement any modern bathroom. The display is also fairly easy to read with large numbers, although I would imagine it's even clearer on the black version as there isn't much contrast between the white text of the readout and the white scales in bright sunlight.My issue is the size, which is both a positive in that the scales are compact and tuck away easily, but I did find that you need to really get your feet centered to get a decent reading. The danger is you have your heels too far back and the scales can flip upwards which is a bit disconcerting. I have size 9 feet and they do creep over the edge of the scales.Accuracy wise there are no issues, as long as you centre your feet as I have mentioned above.These are fairly no frills with any additional measurements such as body fat, muscle mass or bone density but to be honest unless you are paying £00s you aren't likely to get any sort of accurate reading for these metrics anyway.I would probably recommend these, if you have smaller than average feet. I think if you're much more than a 9 I would go for a slightly bigger unit.

Bought these scales to replace a cheap set that didn’t last long. These seem good quality, accurate and look good too. Chose the ghost black ones to match bathroom. Like the sleek design and size means they sit neatly into a small space. Hopefull they with last well.

This is great! I've had a couple of bathroom scales over the last 3 years and this is one of the best so far. I've not had it for long so not sure yet about long term quality but here are the features I do like:1. It's small - many bathroom scales take up a lot of space, but this is much neater. However if you have big feet or your shoe size is more than 44/12UK your toes will most likely stick out at the front. I love it though as it fits under the sink without sticking out.2. Milky glass top with rounded edges. The previous scale I had, the corners were more pointy - it completely shattered when I was sliding it back in under the sink when it hi the wall tiles exactly on the corner - it seems the corners are the Achilles's heal of safety glass. The milky white glass means that dust and marks from water drops don't become immediately visible.3. LED light panel - clearly visible even when you didn't want to turn the light early in the morning.4. Extra feet - the standard feet is for solid floor (Suitable for bathroom) but there are extra feet in the packet which means you can put it on carpeted floor as well.Happy with this purchase and thought throughdesign.

Nice looking scale and compact - however the instructions state that it switches between pound and kilos by impressing the button on the bottom. This just doesn't happen - never has - tried many times. Result is I have to check my computer calculator to find weight in imperial pounds every time I check my weight. Folk of my age (seventies) were brought up on imperial measurements and I'd guess that at least 70% of the British population recognise their weight in stones and pounds. Something the Chinese manufacturer needs to sort out! Too much inconvenience to return it so I've put up with the inconvenience. Maybe Salter should go back to the old system of making things in this country instead of just buying foreign products and badging them up with a trusted Brit name.Wrote previous review when I bought it but kept it and have converted the metric results to imperial ever since. However this week had to get back onto it seconds after weighing because I forgot the weight given originally. Result was the second figure - several kilos different from the first - tried several more times and a different figure every time - varying as much as 8 kilos! Conclusion - it's useless and will now bin it which I should have done in the first place. I've got some medical issues and it's important that I get an accurate weight check each week. AVOID
