Rear Brake Fix
The rear brake on my 98 blaster had been seized for a long time. This product eliminated the parking brake, but renewed the function of the rear brake. The rear brake works great now. If you're like me, you don't really need the parking brake - putting the machine in 1st gear keeps it immobile.

Fantastic replacement part!
If you don't mind deleting the parking brake on your quad this is brilliant. Easy to install works perfectly and soooooo much less than the OEM cable, which you may not find! And if it gets rusty or damaged just get another one, still cheaper than one OEM cable.

High Quality - "Shorty Cable" Upgrade
Used to replace my rear brakes that were sticking on 1997 Yamaha Blaster, (replaces your front brake cable for foot brake) this is a must have upgrade and perfect fit.

I had to use emery cloth to sand the plating off the main pin so the sleve would fit over it. Other than that, I'm happy with it.

Fits on correctly
Fits perfectly I didn't have to anything but reconnect as the old one was on my 2002 blaster

Not recommend
Got everything installed, used the brakes for the very first time & instantly broke the ring off the end of the cable... very cheap material. On top of that I had the hardest time getting the cotter pin in, it was a very tight squeeze I ended up using vise grips to pull it through. Would not recommend

Works great on '98
I purchased the kids a used Blaster. The stock brake setup is one of the worst brake setups I have ever seen.This cable simplifies the entire brake system. Works great. Easy install.
