There are 2 styles for the Burr Grinder: Basic and Premium. The timer and anti-static provisions plus a few other bells and whistles are only on the Premium. Q: Can you replace the burrs on it?

Yes! We just began to offer the replacement burr for this grinder on Amazon. Search B07GBJNN39 for the correct replacement burr. Be sure to order the listing shipped/sold by Amazon (it is almost half the price). Do not worry about the 'ships in 1-2 months' designation, that just means Amazon does not have it on hand yet. Once you order it, they will place the order with us and you will have within a few days from when they receive from us.

Q: Does anyone else have issues with this creating a huge mess? If so did you send it back or a find a fix? If found a fix, what was it?

Yes. Creates a mess, but not as bad as some. I miss my old Bodum, but could not find a replacement flask for it. One thing you need to do is to make sure the flask snaps in tight. this will reduce the mess.

Q: I ground 2 cups medium grind with no problem, then a funny noise and grinds impacted on way to container. Any one else have that happen?

I've had the transfer tube get blocked up once. I didn't hear anything funny. I cleared the coffee and it has been good since. Sorry not that helpful.
