Southern Ag Mole Cricket Bait 5 Percent Carbaryl, 9 Pound

We usually buy nolo bait for grasshoppers, but with the shortage lately we tried this. It wasn't perfect but it was good enough!

Labeled for grasshoppers but not at all effective.Label is terrible with incomplete sentences and not much useful information.

Great product, easy to use and the price was unmatchable compared to other like products. Since we Applied the product we have not been infested.

Not a food. Sprinkle it over affected area and water it in. I had a fresh mole cricket mound pop-up (looks like sand volcano) put a cupful on the mound, water it in for two hours, and a fresh mound reappeared the next morning in the same place.

This year grasshoppers are chewing through the west and with shortages, effective controls are hard to find. I really wanted Nosema bait but it cannot be found anywhere.So I tried this and it worked great!My only concern is that it resembles and smells like grain. I think it would be attractive to birds, pets and non target wildlife so if you use this PLEASE read the label and use it properly. Water it down good after you put it out. I put mine deep in some ornamental flowerpots so that animals didn't get in it. Great stuff but do be careful

Dose the job, requires two applications about 2 to 3 weeks apart.

I have tried this on my vegetable garden to get rid of mole crickets. I have applied it twice as directed and there are still mole cricket tunnels everywhere.

I wanted Nolo bait for grasshoppers. But I can’t find it anywhere this time of year and the grasshoppers are out of control!!! They are eating my basil, sweet peppers, rhubarb, hops, flowers… the list goes on. I bought this to just try it. I also have honeybees, raise monarchs in an outside enclosure, and like to keep the big yellow garden spiders around, so I am very careful about what I use! I was careful to distribute this product with a handheld spreader around my gardens, but away from my bees, butterflies, and spiders. It’s been about a week and I’ve noticed a significant decline in the grasshoppers! I’m going to do another application this week. So far, I’m very pleased. And my beneficial bugs remain unharmed.
