ZenportK104 Harvest Utility Knife, Landscape, 3-Inch Stainless Steel Deep Serrated Blade

I bought this knife to cut sod to size before laying it. I was hesitant at first about ordering it because I didn’t know if it would actually work, but I figured I’d give it a try since it was so inexpensive. I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked! This knife made it a lot easier to cut sod than any other item/knife/tool I had tried prior. Very sturdy and sharp knife, and you can’t beat the price! Highly recommend!

Bought this knife to help clean-up daylilies and irises. Small and sharp, the curved blade cuts old foilage better than my Hori Hori knife or Felco shears. The only very minor issue I had was with the hole on the end. It was so small I couldn't run a small piece or cord through it to hang it up. Since the handle is molded plastic is was a quick job to drill it out.

I like it for harvesting. The hook shape is handy for working near drip tape. Though, this is not ideal for making a second cut to trim up a head of lettuce, for example. It tyoo some practice to figure out how to make a clean second cut. It will sometimes rip/tear the stalk leaving some behind which doesn't look neat.

It is sharp which is good for its intended use in the garden, but arrived in an envelope with a huge hole in it because blade punctured through during shipment. Not exactly safe for the recipient, quite lazy from the seller in the attention to details department if you ask me . Should have a protective sheath or at least be wrapped In bubble wrap for safety so you’re not reaching your hand into a shipping envelope with an exposed sharp blade or potentially injuring someone or mail carrier during the shipping process.

Zenport K104 Harvest Utility Knife, Landscape, 3-Inch Stainless Steel Deep Serrated Blade was a great product and we utilized it to cut and lay sod on our lawn. It was used to cut the sod strips so we could roll and utilized to trim the sod strips along the drive and sidewalks because of the odd shape of our lawn. The serrated blade worked much better than the straight blade cutter.

This sharp little knife is perfect for harvesting the garden, it slices through zucchini stems like a hot knife through butter and the curved tip helps you only cut what you intend to so no accidental damage to the rest of the plant! Not sure if the blade will last more than one season but for the price it’s still worth every penny!

After spending a lot of time and effort trying to trim sod around sprinkler heads with a large jackknife I decided there must be a better way. When I saw the reviews of the Zenport Utility Knife several mentioned it was great for sod cutting---so I took a chance and ordered it. Zenport arrived yesterday and I could not be happier with it----I trimmed a couple irrigation heads in record time and neatly too. It is solid construction and the blade zips through tough sod. So far it is a good as it gets for an inexpensive solution to keeping the irrigation system clear of sod growth.
