Incredible
This massive bag of taro powder is delicious, though a little sweet so may not be for everyone. It's so easy to make taro at home with hot water, milk, ice, and tapioca if you have it. It's definitely helped me cut down on boba costs, and hopefully I'll get to order when I run out! It also smells great.

Delicious! Absolutely love it
I was a bit apprehensive in buying this product due to the mixed bag of reviews but so glad I did! After buying Taro bubble tea usually over £5 I thought it would be cost-beneficial to make my own.On first try this tea has quite a chemically flavour to it which was sickening. I decided to try changing up the portion and you really have to sort of experiment to get the right flavour.Recipe I used....-- Drink2-3 Table spoons of taro powder in 50ml hot waterSoak Taro tapioca pearls in brown sugar water then add to mix, add honey, add lots of ice and then top up with Oat milk to 80% and mix.-- CremaThis is the thing that made it taste more like bubble tea less like chemical sugar as it's a bit salty...2 Table spoon cream cheese2 Table spoon double cream/whipping cream1/2 Teaspoon of sugar1 Tablespoon of milkAnd then WHISK until it thickens and is foamyThen add this to bubble tea and mix..BOOM this is your taro bubble teaLost a star due to needing more powder for flavour which also increases the sickliness. But I think it's worth the price compared to shops so happy to have something 80% as good.

Nice taro flavour
I liked the flavour, it is similar to the bubble tea we buy from the shops. First I made it with pure milk, but it was too rich, you lose the taro flavour. Then, I made 50mls with hot milk, just enough to dissolve 2 tbsp of taro powder, then 150mls cold water and loads of ice, that’s it. Taste moreish. I always make a second serving 😀.

Not great
I can’t say I’m a massive fan. It’s a weird flavour. Kind of like icing sugar? Just very sweet and kind of chemical-y. Usually taro is a creamier flavour but I’m not getting that from this. I wouldn’t get it again, I prefer the bubbleology one.I made this with about 45g of powder (about 3/4 tablespoons), 100ml boiling water, 100ml cold water, then topped off with milk.

Good product. Avoid their instructions. Use mine.
Firstly - this is a good product, just don’t follow the instructions they provide as it won’t make a good drink. It’s really easy - if you’re going to make 1ltr of bubble tea use the following method:Make a syrup with about 300ml water and 30g sugar. Just put the water in a pan, put the sugar in, get it near boil and simmer it. When you’re ready add your tapioca pearls or whatever you need to pre-cook.Add 7 heaped desert spoons (about 165g) of powder to whatever you’re using. I use two protein shaker cups cause it mixes well. When ready tip the syrup into a jug and tip it into the powder (yes, hot). Mix it up and shake it up.When you’ve done this add cold MILK to make up the remaining volume and put it in the fridge. Don’t add water it’s a waste of time. This will make a really tasty Taro bubble tea that is as good as any shop. You may not get 33 drinks from it (whatever size a “drink” is anyway) but they will be amazing.I think you can probably get about 10 litres out of one bag if you add milk which compared to shop prices really isn’t too bad.

Tasty
I’ve bought before from this company and haven’t been disappointed. First time making this flavour, did 3-4 tablespoons of the powder into 50ml of hot water, topped up with cold water and ice (enough from the pint glass I was using) gave it a good shake and voila! Doesn’t need any extra sugar added, nice and sweet and the flavour is there for me. Obviously it’s never going to be as good as the actually store ones but it’s very tasty and very close! I’m very happy :)

Sublime Taste
For me it doesn’t quite make the 33 servings it’s meant to as I found the mixture lacking the all round taste and sweetness levels I’m used to from a Bubble Tea shop. Following the instructions I found myself adding a half a tablespoon more of the powder for my own preference levels and alternating between various non dairy milks to get the preferred taste I was so used to and I sort of got it to where I found the taste to be sublime and addictive. The only real downside was the item arrived with only 4 months remaining on the packaging before the ‘Best Before Date’.
