HOW TO PROGRAM CHIP KEYS WHEN MASTER PROGRAMMED 5 TIMES
I have ordered 2of these keys and all work perfectly once cut and programmed.Delivery was really fast too (with Prime). These do not have the dot at base of key like my master, they do not have Toyota symbol on keys, master does not either. There are no instructions on how to program (sync) the key to your car, worse the only paperwork suggests there is no manual way to do it (hopefully seller can correct this now . they give you a business card on website of how to program it but it was useless.☺)...however it is actually quite simple to program (sync) a key, so here are full instructions. At some point you do need to get the key cut, but this can be before or after you sync the key, I had local lockshopcut my keys first to my master key. tThis way you can test key right away wthout doing special other way with master chip key near ignition switch. .These instructions worked specifically for a 2005 Toyota Solara (they may work for other years / cars too but you can always Google to make sure).Only a master key will lock/unlock the glove box! but this is untrue, my cut replacement keys locked and unlocked glove box before i programmed them.A master key will stop the immobiliser light from flashing when inserted into the ignition.2005Toyota SOLARA Transponder Key ProgrammingWith original (or any) master key and new key in hand sit in drivers seat with all doors closed then:1. Using original master key, insert key into ignition and remove it 4 times;2. Insert key a 5th time, leave it inserted then, within 35 seconds;3. Open and close driver’s door 6 times;4. Remove the original key (immobiliser light should remain on, steady not blinking);5. Insert new key and immobiliser light will start to flash slowly (if it flashes rapidly, see below);6. Wait up to 60 seconds for light to stop flashing (that is, go off).Key should now be programmed! If at step 5 above the immobiliser light flashes rapidly, the maximum of 5 keys are already synced with the car. You may need to reset the system and start afresh, as follows:a) With one master key, insert (into ignition) and remove 5 times;b) Insert a 6th time and leave key in ignition;c) Open and close drivers door 7 times. Immobiliser light will remain on for a second or twod) Remove master key from ignition. You now only have one key synced (the one used to reset the system). To add more keys , follow steps 1 to 6 above.I HOPE THIS WORKS FOR YOU, IF NOT EMAIL ME. DAN

No Dot, No Problem - Perfect Replacement for 2009 Toyota Sienna
As others have said, the chips in these keys prevent them from being used right out of the box, but fortunately, it's very simple to link them to your vehicle. I followed these instructions on a YouTube video, and afterward, I had two new, functional keys for my 2009 Toyota Sienna.1. Using a master key (original key), insert (and remove) it from the ignition 5 times. On the 5th time, leave it in the ignition, then:2. Open and close the driver's door 6 times.3. Remove the master key. The security light should now stay lit red.4. Insert the newly cut key. The security light should be blinking red; wait about 60 seconds until the light stops blinking and turns off.5. Remove the new key. Insert the old master key and start the engine and turn it off. Your new key should have been programmed and ready for use.I've seen it said some places that the above instructions don't work unless you have a "dot" near the base of your key, but I can confirm that these keys (which have no dots) still accept the programming without issue. I was concerned because my original key did have the dot, but ultimately it wasn't a problem. Finally, it's important to note that the keys do not need to be cut before you can program them; they'll slide into the ignition just fine, but of course they won't turn. If your car has reached the limit of keys that can be linked to it, the programming won't work, so be sure to try that before you spend money on cutting the keys.

Nice product, works as advertised and easy to program! Beats going to a dealer!!
Updated on 6/9 - All of my keys (including the master) have stopped working. My 4Runner's engine immobilizer has kicked in than the car is dead in the water. What I am being told is that if the Toyota dealer does not program a code into the cars computer, after two weeks, the car's computer will assume it is stolen and lock up. Buyer beware!!+++++++++++++++++Keys arrived today. Took them to a local hardware store (not a big box place like Home Depot) to have them cut ($4 total!). Then I followed the online instructions and they were programmed within 10 minutes. Took a couple of tries, but no big deal at all. Would recommend for anyone with a 2009 4Runner.
