A Manual of Acupuncture

I was lucky to get my hands on this set. I love it, very helpful. I think it has one card missing but that's it. Good condition.

The format of one point per card is fantastic! You can easily browse through the acupuncture points and all the necessary information about localisation and clinical usage is readily available. Very helpful for the beginner, but maybe even more for an intermediate student (like myself) who tries to understand the more advanced acupuncture treatment formulas using some less commonly used points. I recommend this book in this particular format for every student, great investment!

I like this book. This book contains 387 illustrated cards devoted to the locating, needling and understanding the uses of the acupuncture points. The front of each card shows an illustration of the point and location text. The back of the card gives point name, category, location note, actions, indications and explanation.

Brilliant idea well presented to focus learning of meridians and points. Cheaper elsewhere though. ....

using these to get my 3 ways of locating points, only some of these cards do not have 3 ways!!! so using alongside college notes and a good point atlas which gives me a good overall view and good practice to read things in different ways. These cards are very expensive but i am glad i got them as they will be useful for a long time...even when qualified, but still wish they were a bit cheaper.

I love these cards as am currently studying chinese medicine and find them so handy when you need to locate a point quickly. The book is good, but not portable although i did buy both.

Exactly as promised. Though not listed as a Prime item, this arrived within 2 days which was a very pleasant surprise.Great Deadman illustrations and info, plus I can annotate with my own highlights from class. A useful tool for my studies.

Product itself is good. Arrived damaged and poorly packed. Not good enough. It is essentially a paper product and not to send it properly packed is not reasonable. Disappointed.

Die Erklärungen und Zeichnungen geben ganz genau die Punkte wieder und genau das ist Sinn dieser Karten. Die Basiserklärungen sind auch sehr gut detailliert wieder gegeben, sodass es auch für Laien ein ausgezeichnetes Werkzeug ist, um damit zu arbeiten. Für alle Personen, die mit Akupunkturpunkten und Meridianen arbeiten ein absolutes "must have"...Für Akupunkturisten ist wahrscheinlich das Buch desselben Autors noch besser, weil dort auch mehr Informationen drin stehen.Reinhard Becker
