Klement's Garlic Summer Sausage, Hardwood Smoked 32 Oz (2 Pounds) - 1 Unit Per Order

I found this to be a very delicious summer sausage. It is very garlicky which is something that I like. So if you don't like garlic don't buy this one. It is a large piece of sausage and a good buy for the price also.

This took me forever to eat but it was worth it. Share or keep to yourself. It's salty so it should keep pretty well too if your into squirreling away your sausage logs like a depraved carnivorous squirrel. You can swing it around and pretend it's a sword too! Buy with crackers and cheese with some nice tea for a lovely afternoon.

Arrived on time & packaged well. Garlic sausage was somewhat dry and has an odd taste. You can taste the garlic but it also tastes a bit like soap. Would not order again. I ordered a different brand on here that tastes much better from Wisconsin.

AS a meat cutter ( butcher) from age of 16, to 60+ yrs old now. Glad to find REAL summer sausage that taste good, needs no refrigeration ( because it done right) .Also I didn't want cheap crap made with (@#$%&*(*((&^%# and BHA, ect. simple recipe that tastes great. has enough fat to taste right, BUT not greasy.Take on road trips, and save money not buying tiny pack of jerky for 25 bucks. Great on crackers, gets you by until you get dinner later in day.Was so good, i order some for gifts and another one for me.These type quality products are so hard to find, because ALL LARGE CHAIN Grocery stores only sell what makes them the most money, not what customers like. .

I'm a bit particular about my summer sausages and have been trying some different brands.This one has a decent flavor with noticeable garlic notes. It did seem a bit too salty compared to some other brands but not by much.What I don't like about it is the texture. It's too soft and the meat seems so overly mixed that it is kind of mushy, I think more bite is ideal. Even after I cut it fresh out of the fridge, it was still mushy in the mouth. You probably won't notice it if you eat small amounts with other accompaniments like crackers and cheese, but I was eating relatively thick slices.It's good value and the flavor is decent but the texture could use some help.
