Electrolux 241778307 Door Gasket for Refrigerators, Gray

Our Frigidaire fridge French doors started to build mold on the seals and the doors sometimes were found slightly ajar. Food in the back of the fridge was found frozen. Turned out that the door seals had gone rigid (6-7 year old fridge), causing cold air to leak and the fridge to overwork and build condensation. It was as simple as pulling out the old seals and pushing these ones in the existing groves in the door. It took minutes, no tools required. Anybody can do it. After the 5-year warranty has expired, this is a cheaper fix than having a mechanic come out just to look at your fridge. The mold no longer builds, food no longer freezes, and the doors stay closed again. Highly recommended.

Gasket fit like a glove, very easy to install, most of the effort was to remove door to lay flat.

The product was packaged well. It was a little crimped in one small spot but other than that it was in good shape. The gasket was substantial and sturdy. It was also easy to install. (The crimp was not noticeable after installation)Just pull off the old gasket and push in the new. Couldn’t be easier!

I used this to replace the broken seal on my Kenmore. Works well, although I suggest that its taken out of the box, straightened out and heated up by a hairdryer to help smooth out the wrinkles caused by twisting to fit in the box (why i took off one star). Putting on without doing this results in a warped seal that wont self correct as the cold from the fridge does not allow the seal to relax back to its natural shape.

After much research and finding out the seals to my Kenmore fridge are no longer available from OEM websites, I decided to try these ones. I am happy to say they fit perfectly, and this was the easiest appliance repair I’ve ever done! They were delivered on a hot day and sat on the porch for a couple hours til I got home, so they were already warm. I then immediately brought them in, took off the old gaskets, cleaned the doors, and put these new gaskets on in less than 15 minutes. I’m hoping this will resolve the issue of my refrigerator freezing food in the back. Thanks for making these available!

I recommend getting this original OEM refrigerator door gasket. It comes in a flat box, not folded up. It installs easily and there is a good seal.Previously I had purchased a lower-cost gasket that was not original OEM that was inferior and returned it.

Item received new in box. Twisted. Installation was pretty easy and it fit perfectly. After installation I noticed it didn't seal good so I did the recommended procedure so it would seal better. It seemed like it did but the I believe the magnet is not strong enough. Unfortunately it leaks condensation and continues to pool water on the floor. It functions as it should but doesn't seal properly.
