British Bobby Black Helmet - Molded Felt Hat with Metal Crest, Adjustable Fit

We needed a 'Bobby Hat' for a British Police character in our play. This hat was perfect. It is now part of our costume collection, and will work well for other actors, because it is adjustable on the inside. The top bit of silver 'metal' (plastic, really) came off a couple of times, then needed to be hooked into the felt better, but otherwise it was durable. In total, a very good purchase for our needs.

Excellent in appearance. Though definitely costume-y in quality, it doesn't look so. Great Accessory at a very good price. Strap adjustment system on the inside of the hat really holds well and means the hat really can fit anybody.

Bought this for a theater production. Needed one to fit a large man's head, 23". When it arrived, I was very impressed with the construction and the way it looks. It has an adjustable band inside so it would fit various head sizes.

There is an adjustable velcro band at the back of the hat to accommodate different head sizes. It's durable and not just thin cheap plastic. Definitely worth the price.

We needed Bobby style helmets for a stage production of The 39 Steps. This helmet is great! It is made of a very heavy, plush felt-like material. It has an adjustable sizing strap inside, so it easily fits small through large heads. The metal adornments look fantastic. On stage it looks authentic and it's comfortable to wear. I highly recommend this product!

These were purchased for a production of The 39 Steps. They're a really nice quality product. They look good, fit well and will hold up for more opportunities.

This is a good looking prop hat made out of sturdy, durable felt. My only complaint is that the plastic pieces are not as sturdy or as well attached as I would like. I lost the piece on the top of one of the the hats during rehearsals before I could hot glue it down really well. Still, nice looking and worth the price.

This Bobby hat was great for a play I was in - I played a Bobby and the costume department only had those plastic ones you can get elsewhere. This was MUCH higher quality and much more durable. Nice felting and it looked authentic from the audience.
