Fifth film in the darkly comic teen horror series. A select few somehow manage to make it out alive after a bridge collapses. Having cheated death, they soon realise their days are now numbered as normally straightforward activities such as laser eye surgery, gymnastics and acupuncture go horribly wrong. Can any of the survivors find a way to change their destiny?

You spin me right round baby right round like a record baby.
Hee, no surprise to find great division among horror fanatics, whatever the film or franchise, hot debate - even furious anger - can be found. FD5 has unsurprisingly garnered mixed reactions, but even allowing for the fact that as an idea it's a series that can't get better, part 5 is a considerable step up from the very poor part 4. It also boasts a neat trick of the tail, where some ingenuity is used to bring the series full circle, with a glint in the eye and a bloody tongue in the cheek.Once again the opening and closing credit sequences are superb, doffing its cap to what is undoubtedly a very popular horror franchise. The disaster that underpins the formula is one of the best to be staged, a mighty bridge collapse that terrifies and thrills in equal measure. Then of course it's same old same old, which you would think anyone venturing into watch would expect anyway. Acting is as usual mixed, but the deaths are up to the ingenious standard set throughout all the other films, and then a narrative twist at the finale arrives to seal the deal for a rollicking good time. We even get a welcome return of Tony Todd - Bonus! If it proves to be the final Final Destination then it's a fitting closure, because there is thought here. Anyone taking on another will have to come up with a whole new idea to appease the horror hordes.Enough Now. 7.5/10

The best final destination so far
Okay, since ive been an avid final destination fan, so i had to see it in the cinemas. The plot tells about a working group going for a teambuilding session, but suddenly a bridge breaks down and causes people to die in a graphic and brutal way.Sam Lawton (Nichola D'Agosto) witnesses the bridge collapsing moments before it actually happens saves his working group. After few days Sam's friend's and her girlfriend (Emma Bell) start to die in a mysterious ways. The plot is the same since the first movie, but in FD5 the deaths are quiet creative and good, but if you aren't an fd fan you probaply won't enjoy this if you didn't enjoy the past films. This movie features A LOT of gore and blood, so if you are sensitive steer clear of this movie, but there's no sadism so if you want to laugh at epic fails in this movie then go ahead.Result= 5/5 this movie is only for horror/FD fans, but some people of comedy may enjoy it.Pre-ordered the dvd, i think it will be worth it :) too bad no blu-ray yet available for pre-order :/

A REAL SHOCKER!
FINAL DESTINATION 5 was truly epic. One of the best films of the franchise. It is the goriest chapter, and also the most exciting. The gory effects were hilariously disgusting and made me have to look away at parts. The acting was great. The lead role was brilliant. The storyline was action-packed, hilarious, nailbiting and a bit sad.Sam and his co-workers are travelling on a bus across a bridge when he has a premonition of it collapsing. He saves a handful of people including his ex-girlfriend Molly. They then witness the bridge collapse. They think they are safe but they soon realise that you cant cheat death. With a shocking twist and a really gripping storyline, FINAL DESTINATION 5 proves that the franchise is still strong, with clever kills, a merciless storyline and fantastic acting. The 3D was spectacular and made the gore even more gross! I highly recommend this terrifying yet hilarious thrill-ride! EPIC! 10/10!

love these films
many people think that this series of films shouldn't have gone on as long as it has, i however, believe in making my own informed decisions about things and i've always been a fan of this film, so i didn't hesitate to buy it {once the price had gone down!}. if you like it, then you like it and so there's no need to scrutinise it and look for every tiny flaw, just so you can complain about the actor's lack of talent, or the producer's incompetence {good god!} these people should just grow up and shut up.i watch something because i want to see it and if there are little mistakes then that just shows that nobody's perfect, even multi-millionaire film directors! if, like me you're a fan of final destination, then you'll like this one too, simple as that!
