We bought these for a school play and they served that purpose. They just weren’t as much of a quality product as we were expecting for the price. They looked the part, and fit decently even though there were different age groups of kids.

This kepi is utterly inauthentic. The vinyl brim is too large and chinstrap look cheesy. The crossed rifles insignia was introduced in 1874 and was never used in the Civil War. Wearing the kepi marks the owner as a farb . If they are above the age of 15, they will be seen as a legitimate target for ridicule by anyone with any knowledge of the headgear of Civil War soldiers.
