Exact size
They are exactly 3.6mm. Easy to drill out a pipe stem with a 9/64" drill bit and press in.

Almost ruined my pipe / They won't let me return them.
I ordered this specifically for my Savinelli Churchwarden 3mm Pipe and almost ruined it when the filter got stuck in the flue hole of my pipe. That is fine, sometimes things don't work. What annoys me is I cannot return this product. I am pretty sure this is aluminum, and totally fine for return and redistribution, but that is not an option for this product. So two warnings, if you have a 3mm pipe, these may not work. Don't ruin your nice pipe like I almost did. Also, you may not be able to return it.

They work with a lil tweaking
I dunno why everyone likes to complain about these. About 2 minutes extra work makes them work amazingly.
