OrientAC08 V4' Japanese Automatic/Hand Winding Stainless Steel and Leather Dress Watch

This watch exceeded my expectations. Quality is exceptional for the price. This is my firt automatic/manual watch. Really like the movement of the seconds hand. Decided on the brown and rose gold. I had set out looking for a black dial watch but I like this even better. It is a dark brown and just a very nice combination with the rose gold and band. My wrist is about 6 3/4". I was concerned that the 42 mm dial would be too big. It doesn't look too big at all, I would say just the right size. I think that is because the case is not too thick, the lug length is not long and the lugs curve down toward the wrist. Some nice details include the red dipped tip of the seconds hand, the red leather borders on the strap and the beautiful dome crystal. Highly recommend.

The styling of this model fits either dress or casual wear. The accuracy over a month or so has been close to perfect. It's been decades since I've worn a mechanical watch and as an alternative to my Orient Capitol, I'm very pleased. The watchband provided may not be ideal, but it is softening and can easily be replaced. Given the quality of the watch and the price paid, replacement would not be a deal killer. Orient's quality is well-known and in its price range hard to beat. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with their products.

This is a wonderful classic watch with a great automatic mechanism.First time I wore was at an event with 400 people, and I can tell you it's eye catchy! I got lots of compliments for the watch.This is new Version 4, with 42.5mm diameter and 22mm bracelet.It's a great good looking and high quality watch. You can't get a better deal for a classic dress watch. In Europe it costs 3x more, at least.

If you are into automatic watches, you know the acclaim the Bambino series has received in the watch cult. I cant remember a relatively inexpensive watch like this ever getting this much acceptance so quickly, or maybe ever. The evident quality and the elegant design are really very nice, regardless of price. The only thing it lacks is a sapphire crystal, which of course is usually unheard of at this price level. And this version in brown is really something special!

My Bambino V4 Brown Dial with Gold Bezel is a nice inexpensive watch that looks nicer than its price point. It is reasonably well made and my watch seems to gain about 4 seconds/day. That is within the +/- 15s/d one expects from a mechanical watch. But the self-winding mechanism is noisy and the hand winding is stiff. Looking at the back, the caseback is stamped steel with machined engraved logo. The dial is simple brown and the hour markers are simple. Overall, the fit and finish is acceptable but unexceptional. Clearly, the watch is made to a low price point. It is worth what I paid at Amazon. Time will tell if the watch is reliable.

Great little dress watch. Value for the $$ is great considering Orient makes their movements ‘in-house’. As long as you treat this piece as an ‘occasonal’ watch it should fill a role in your collection and serve you well. Seller was quick to ship and packaged it well.
