I recently handed my xr down to my son. This case protected my phone for 2 years and did a fantastic job. Of course I went through a few screen protectors, but please understand that I’m the kind of person who drops their phone SEVERAL times a day. I drop it almost every time I get in and out of the car. I prop it up in precarious places, and it falls.This case has truly held up. It’s so comfortable and reliable I honestly haven’t thought about it since I put it on my phone 2 years ago. It never yellowed or went dingy. Great quality. I’m only replacing it because the pop socket base I had on this case left a mound of ancient goo and it would be easier to buy a new one than go out and buy goo gone and scrape it off.Loved this case. Will definitely be buying one for my iPhone 14 pro max. The one I got at T-Mobile sucks and has sharp edges around the charger and speaker holes.Update: luckily for my wallet, Spigen doesn’t make an 14 pro max case with the color matching border. A shame as this was what attracted me to this case initially.

Good price and good quality. Would order again and recommend.August 2018 Update: After using this case for the past 9 months I have to say it's worth it. Have dropped my phone at least 5 or 6 times (including face down) and there has been no damage to it. The case is holding up well to daily use. I was inspired to write an updated review after recommending the case to a friend. When I saw some of the reviews on there I was kind of shocked at some of them.1. The back of the iPhone XR is metal. So the guy who said he broke the glass on the back of his XR while using the case is a liar. 2. The plastic doesn't come scratched. There is a protective film on BOTH sides of the clear plastic when it arrives. One is imprinted with a logo and the other is not. Once you remove them both it's clear and scratch free. 3. Yes, it is hard to remove one of the pieces of protective plastic. But it's possible. And guess how many times you have to remove it. Once, just once. 4. Yes, there are small openings at the bottom corners of the clear back of the case. Does it let dirt in? I guess so. But not enough to be a nuisance or cause damage to the phone. If you "just can't" with the openings, buy another case like an Otter Box. 5. it doesn't cover the microphone, speaker, or anything else that would hamper your use and enjoyment of the phone.All in all a slim case and a great product. I can't recommend it more!

I’ve used Spigen cases for my last several phones. Usually I go for the Tough Armor but because I got a pretty red phone I wanted to be able to see it. I’m pleased with this case.- I had no trouble removing the protective stickers.- I wouldn’t say the red outer is an exact match for the red XR. The XR is like a candy apple red and the outer of the case is more like a dark cherry. However, I like the way it looks together. I’m glad I got the red.- It’s very comfortable to hold. The sides are smooth but not slippery. The back is great because as much as I love the glass back on the XR, that bad boy is SLICK. Mine fell off the arm of my chair or my leg at least six times before the case arrived. No problems now.- There are four small ridges on the back near each corner. I assume they serve some kind of protective function and they don’t bother me.- Yes, it collects fingerprints. Any clear case will. And the XR’s glass back did a good job of that all by itself. Wipe the case occasionally, you’ll be fine. Or get something matte that covers up the back.- The buttons are clicky and it’s easy for me to swipe all the areas I need to on the phone. The fit is perfect.- I haven’t tested the durability and I hope not to, but the case feels sturdy and I’m confident it will protect my phone from most situations.

easy to yellow after a short period

This case was very low profile but also strong. The photos are somewhat misleading as I ordered the red cover thinking the case would be in fact red but only the edges are colored as seen in only one of the photos. The case is actually clear on the back which was kind of disappointing given all but one photo appear to make it look fully red.

I LOVE this case! I bought a red iPhone and didn't want to hide its beauty with a case that covered up the back of my phone. But I didn't want a boring clear case, either. This case has a red edge and clear back and looks amazing on my phone. It protects the phone well without being impossible to remove, if the need should ever arise. I would purchase again.I bought this case again in 2021, because my first case started separating along one of the long edges. :-( That said, it was totally worth sticking to this case (I really love the color on the side and the fact that it is not impossible to take the case off when I want to). Just a few weeks ago, my iPhone fell from a window sill about shoulder height onto a tile floor!!! I checked it over carefully, both the case and the phone looked perfect. I've waited a few weeks to write this review, in case some damage occurred inside the phone. But I am happy to report that my iPhone is working perfectly, despite the fall. I'm sticking to Spigen for future cases!
